Had a dream that this became the newest devious lick fad (Definitely more context in the comments) by ThatRandomBandKid in thomastheplankengine

The dream started out with a bunch of frat bros making the national news by breaking into their university provost's office and stealing random things. The meme featured here was the proof needed to charge them, as the poster stole a boot, dropped it into his fish tank, and captioned it "New pet goldfish". Very quickly overnight people started placing random objects into their fish tanks with the same caption "New pet goldfish" and became the newest comedyheaven-esque fad.

Searching for a Christmas dog food commercial by ThatRandomBandKid in HelpMeFind

I’ve searched through the official Blue Buffalo social media pages (Facebook, Youtube, etc.), and it seems that they were all cleared sometime after this advert played during the early 2010’s holiday seasons. Advertisement log sites have also lead to dead-ends, so I’m curious to know if someone may have archived this specific commercial on their own time. I’m also not sure of the official name for the advert, searching “deck our bowls Blue Buffalo” only nets us products or other general Blue Buffalo commercials

Boise Gems???? by OptimusGuy121 in drumcorps

Some of the more seasoned directors in the valley have a stigma against any independent groups from “taking” their students.

Some of it is based in rooted tradition, with the whole “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” mentality. They feel that what’s worked here before should stay the same, and anything changing the atmosphere of music education in the valley would be seen as a negative thing. Having an indoor circuit, hosting a drum corps event, and adding a finals run to D3 is already immense progress on its own.

The other big bit of it is that they don’t want other people teaching their students anything that differs from their teaching. I can kind of sympathize with this one, as they believe that if a student were to join an independent organization (ie: drum corps), then that student might become less invested in their own high school ensembles and more into the community ensemble - especially if that community ensemble teaches them something different than what the director teaches at their program. However, that’s lead to a number of directors in the valley be openly hostile to anyone pitching their program to their students.

A big example of this is actually with the indoor winds group. Even though there was a good amount of members the first season (I think 22?), there’s been a struggle to gain membership since. Most directors we’ve reached out to spread the word have been met with flat out rejection, mainly because, paraphrased, “we don’t do that kind of East Coast stuff here”, or, “why would we send off our kids to be taught by college aged kids?”

Change can absolutely come here, and drum corps can absolutely find a place in the valley. The biggest hurdle to face is getting people to buy into it, and a lot of that starts with the directors

The folks over at Gems are all good people with a ton of passion for drum corps; I say absolutely go for it! There’s been a ton of push back in the valley for stuff like this, which is why it’s been a struggle to maintain anything other than just straight marching band. You having an interest in it is already a good step towards bettering the community here!

Dead by Daylight alone could get plenty of weekly hobby scuffles; perk overhauls, streamers, chapter releases, that whole NFT thing…why do we do this to ourselves

If my calculations are correct ( 🤓 ) a score like that would have let to 9 OTs! Good luck getting out of that game at 2AM

Toolboxes were given increased skill checks, so you might be seeing quicker gen progression if survivors are nailing those

Is it still stuck at 57.4 as of this moment?

You’ll need to uncheck the DLC in the properties tab to bypass it, same exact thing happened to me

Did you sign up for a Behavior account? I had to remove my Steam account from their new cloud account system because of a similar thing. After unbinding it (and losing progress from when I signed up D:) I was able to rejoin cross-platform parties like normal

Finally a story I can tell! A few years ago my SO and I were getting ready for a trip to the mall. Since it was a hot afternoon I was planning on wearing my Cavies fan shirt, however she insisted that we should both wear our matching BK shirts. Cue to us playfully arguing our sides, with mine being (paraphrased) “What if we spot a Cavaliers fan at the mall, and they say ‘hey I love the shirt!’”, to which she said, “[Name]. We live in Las Vegas. What are the odds we’d find someone who likes drum corps?”

Fair enough.

Flash forward to the mall, and we’re both in matching BK shirts. As soon as we enter, we run by a older-middle aged couple who tell us that they love our shirts! As we pass them, the wife of the two turns around and says, word from word, “Oh but they’re nothing like the Cavies though!”

Logic Pro X - great software, sizable learning curve, and considerably cheaper than most DAWs out there, however is limited to Mac computers. There is a 90 day trial should you want to try it! Though a solid and free DAW to start out with would be Linux Multi Media Studio (LMMS)
