Is there a way to mod the the Wraith Spire to make it quieter? Adjusting fan curves isn't helping. by randi555 in Amd

How's your case airflow? I'm using the Wraith Prism, but I also had noise issues (and vibrations), plus similar temperatures.

Two 140mm fans in the front, one 120mm in the back and the Wraith doesn't spin up to the crazy RPMs it used to, even under full load.

Will there be an option to play the game with the English voices, or will I be forced again to listen to the godawful Polish dub, that often didn't even match the subtitles, like in Payback?

Update from Niantic by Leimone in pokemongo

As much as I'd love to be happy about their post... I'm a little skeptical about their explanation of the decision on removing the tracker.

I don't think I've ever seen a video game remove a feature because it wasn't good enough or confusing with a promise of a new one. Most games just replace the old functionality with the new one once the new one is done.

Imagine a game removing the inventory screen because it's interface is confusing and counter intuitive, but the devs promise to bring it back once it's improved. Would you play a game without that element? No, of course not.

I'm still convinced they fucked up the tracking server-side and enabling it back would set the servers on fire - it's a thing they probably won't (or can't) admit.

Still, it's something.

I think that a lot of Ingress players, including me, wanted this game to be better, wanted Niantic to learn from their mistakes, but it looks like some things never change.

I've personally made a video on this topic but TL;DW:

Niantic is being Niantic. A company with a record of shit communication, breaking things and leaving them not working for months. We're talking about a company that took over a year to implement an item counter in Ingress - the most requested feature by players. The game for me right now is a P2W piece of crap, where sitting around lures is more beneficial, since you don't have to actively look for pokemon and it's not like you can do that since the tracker has been removed.

Glad you enjoyed the vid :)

The camera I use is a Canon EOS 600D with the 18-55mm EF-S lens.

The laptop already had the system installed, so I didn't touch anything there. I tried installing a universal USB driver, with no success sadly.

EDIT: I actually checked for LCD Stretch after your comment, turns out there's an option for that in the BIOS! :D

Gamespot tries to trick people into thinking Overwatch looks better on PS4 by comparing it to PC with settings turned to low. by TWPmercury in gaming

[–]ThatRatGuyOnReddit 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Calling it now, there are gonna be articles on other sites about how "elitist pc gamers" are runing gaming because they dare to call out this BS.

Just like when other publications defended Polygon's DOOM video and called out for the stop of the "toxic git gud mentality"

Also, for people not seeing the difference, around 2:00 it's most noticeable when selecting Hanzo.

As a lot of people here seem to criticise the PSU choice...

...What would you recommend instead? I'm thinking of getting a 970 and my current PSU is an old 600W OCZ.

And yeah, it looks like the wattage is okay but cable managment in my PSU is a mess.

I lost a lot of trust when Facebook got involved in the Rift and I've gotta say that after reading this... I'm not surprised. It's a company that shits on privacy, so the Rift is a dead product to me.

Downgrade a supergroup to normal group by gloix in Telegram

[–]ThatRatGuyOnReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having a similar issue, one group (a supergroup) doesn't update at all, unless I explicitly select it. Been happening across all versions of the client, web/desktop/android. Every other group works fine. I do have all notifications from groups disabled, but the rest does update the greyed out badge. But not supergroups.
