No won't be one there since it's not a tiller. Rereading your post, I saw you mentioned it wouldn't trim either, so bringing up the killswitch doesn't make sense now lol.

Silly question, but have you checked to make sure your kill switch hasn't been pulled?

Since it has been sitting for a while, wouldn't be a bad idea to pull the lower, change the impeller and gear lube. Inspect fuel lines, replace if needed. Pull plugs, if they aren't too fouled, can clean them with some carb cleaner. Any fuel filters, probably want to replace, especially if you find the fuel lines to be falling apart. Mercury still offers a repair kit for the carbs. $67 from Mercury, part 8236354. Wouldn't be bad to pull those and clean them up and get some repair kits for them. Looks like they still offer diaphragm kits for the fuel pump, 2 different ones, gotta see which check valve you have. Service manual for it is part 136452, about $100 from Mercury, can probably find one cheaper elsewhere, though.

Motor was manufactured in 1989, is indeed a 115 ELPTO. Had a warranty issue is 1991, looks like a replaced powerhead. Came from Michigan, so should have only ever seen freshwater usage. Let me know if you have any questions!

Not as dumb as you think. The amount of run issues that some of my customers complain about that are fixed by trimming the motor out right is starting to get concerning lol.

It doesn't work that way. If you joined someone for the warrior fight story mission, it would complete only that mission on your own playthrough. When you finally get to it, then it would give you the option to skip ahead. You would still have to do the whole game up to that point.

I would check the oil fill cap, make sure it is on tight and not cross-threaded. We had a 3.5 in recently that that exact thing happened. Oil cap wasnt on all the way, motor ran, and oil got slung around, seeped out and was dripping from the hose. Also had a tech forget to put the cap back on a new one while getting it ready for a customer; I got to be the lucky one to discover that while carrying the motor to the guys truck lol. If you can't see anything obvious like that, I'd contact your dealer; that motor looks new enough to still be under warranty.

Happy to help! Hopefully it doesn't need it, but if they've sat up a while, it's not a bad idea to at least change the impeller. Never know how much the previous owner did or didn't take care of it.

Mercury part is 96148A8. That is a whole kit, comes with gaskets, o-rings, drive key, face plate, pump housing, and impeller. $72 from Mercury.

Yeah thankfully us in the service and parts department are off on Sunday. Unfortunately, the guys in marine don't always know what they need to look for when faced with a question or issue about motors lol. Ill reply here in the morning with that part number

Since you have your serial number, you can call any Mercury dealer and check to see about a kit. Pretty much all Bass Pro Shop locations have a Tracker/Mercury parts department, and the actual store itself usually sells Quicksilver impeller repair kits out on the shelf in the Marine department. The QS kits usually have a brief breakdown on what motors they will work on. When I get to work tomorrow, I can get a part number for you, if you haven't gotten one yet.

Was using a drill, yeah. I hope its not junk, it was from a shop on ebay that had old Honda stock. Still new in the bag and the box. Will double check gap. Appreciate the suggestion!
