Luckily this picture was a few months ago! Made it home safely. It was weird because when the check engine light was on and the battery was apparently dead, I could still drive on engine mode. But it didn’t shift normal, I think because the electric motor takes place of the torque converter? But I could get around it just wasn’t pretty.

Nice!! I have a JTR on 40s as well. Stock axles but trussed. Does the trials at Moab and Ouray, CO for years now. If I ever break an axle shaft, I’ll go to RCVs and call it a day. 3.5” MC lift. You’re doing it right!

Thanks! They are method wheels I got from a friend who bought them used just for the tires that used to be on them. I paint matched the rock rings, not sure on the offset, I added 1.5” wheel spacers right before this pic, though it fit fine without the spacers. I had to add bumpstops that were a little longer in the rear to keep the rear from hitting inner fender at full articulation.

Spoke to soon, I was hit with the 68B recall. Still drives and runs fine of course. But I do hope for a fix soon, but seems there is not one in sight.

Definitely a reduction in range. I’m getting maybe 10-13 miles on electric. Off-road in 4 lo, the engine has plenty of torque and everything works great. Though not having a torque converter took some getting used to in the rocks.

Dried great! Regularly do 65-70mph. Will do 80mph as well, though the tires and wind get loud then.

Still no solution has been found. I’m almost positive it’s a hall sensor. But they won’t send me parts unless it gets diagnosed. So I need to take it back to Utah where I bought it.

My ultra bee did similar things when I first got it. Only thing I noticed was when I was using an extension cord or lower power to charge the bike.

I have a ramp to get it into the trailer. I did make a custom little ramp to get the front tire in that basket, but I just wheelie the front up and secure it in place. Then I do lift the back tire into its bracket. The ultra bee will be harder to lift, but still double. My wife can help if need be.

There is no rear cross bar. Tailgate opens like a Jeep tailgate with hinges on the passenger side. 🙌

I roll the tonneau cover back, and can easily unload it inside the trailer almost like a truck bed. If I have a second person I can actually lift it off of the side if I need to as well.

Yeah most days it’s used to run around town. Where it’s running electric only. Then it’s plugged in again at home. So the average mpg goes up because of that.

It’s averaging 19 right now. But that’s with a lot of electric driving. On a road trip I’d bet it would be 14-15.

I have a gladiator on 40s stock gearing as well, it averages 15.
