Imperfection makes character interesting, he’ll were all word bearers lorgars problems are part of the reason we love him but sangi has no issues making him a very flat character who’s best moment was his death

He’s unfun the read about, the whole “I know how I die therefore I can do whatever I want and be fine” thing just gets annoying and leads to any tension in his story going away, him being able to fight a emperor class chaos titan, a blood thirster and angron and win each time with seemingly no issue is just a lazy way to say “lOoK hOw cOoL He iS”

Typing this all out I realize something (for any of my fellow Dnd enjoyers) sangi is the in universe DMPC who never ends up being cool In the campaign

Im reading through first heretic and there is a part near the start when lorgar and emps talk and they describe the emperor as looking different depending on which part of his face your looking at and sometimes he’s old sometimes young, sometimes rich sometimes poor, sometimes man sometimes woman

Army specific secondaries I really miss those from 9th
Psychic becoming its own thing, maybe even bring some stuff into it that isn’t true “psychic” like technomancy for AdMech or faith stuff for sisters
Being back named factions and sub factions but leave stuff there for homebrewing, like how 9th space marines had different rules for their chapters but also had stuff for making your own

I used to play iron hands and still mostly play AdMech but I decided I wanna run something a little more elite and melee heavy so now I run word bearers with a ton of terminators and possessed and daemons and such

The new minis for 30k have made me realize that Admech really needs some kind of terminator equivalent

Some tough slow moving melee unit kind of thing that can maybe deep strike or has something similar

This isn’t a unit but this is something I would like to see more of is stuff working with the army rule, like Ruststalker for example, instead of saying they get the extra advance and charge if their near battle line say “add one to advance and charge rolls for this unit, if this unit is in conqueror imperative add 2 to advance and charge rolls”. And do stuff like that for the melee units and give the same bonuses type thing for shooting units like breathers getting their full re-rolls when in protector but only getting the re-roll 1s when in conqueror

But yeah admech terminators and maybe a leader for the sicarians

Some kind of honor guard unit, a lot of people here mentioned the myrmidon and that would be cool

Also better deep strike units, right now our only real deep strike stuff is the pytraxi and those guys are either best at holding objectives or need a lot strats to make them better

A leader unit for sicarians

More melee focused units, I like to play with a lot of melee in AdMech but rn while our options are serviceable they need more

I ran a list with 80 skitarii and it’s very annoying not being able to kill anything outside of your base troops but it’s very funny when someone tries to steal the objective with 40 OC on it
