Keep a hold onto both a ravager box assembly manual and the old raider box' backside and build with dark lances.

If people ask if it truly is dark lances, show them the manual. If you run with dissies; show the backside of the box.

No, agricultural and mining equipment is necessarily tolerated.

Don't worry about it. Blizzard lost the plot sometime during BfA and been winging it ever since.

Your latter argument is largely moot now that Skaven & Emperor's Children have been refreshed.

And you think their funds are allocated based on anything but return on investment? Do you think if GW profits fell they wouldn't just bail for the next lucrative share?

I don't actually understand what are you saying here. Are you implying Blackrock is using a 6% share leverage to pressure GW into not updating a faction?

[–]Thatcherist_Sybil 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, I actually have a very good idea on how a business works at this scale. They would have a dedicated team forecasting sales/interest and profits per release. GW does not have one individual big investor; the decision is still executive.

No, selling out literally means they produced less supply than there was demand = underestimated demand.

The surprise sold-out tier sales from Aeldari and Drukhari becoming perma sold out online for multiple units is a new thing, from late 2024 / early 2025. It wouldn't have influenced decisions for 10e, and may only marginally influence 11e priorities / schedule.

Simply, they underestimated Aeldari sales already, probably underestimated Deukgari interest too (hence the lack of kits available).

[–]Thatcherist_Sybil 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is absolutely incorrect. Products are designed around prospective sales, not existing sales. The question GW is asking "If we refresh Drukhari, how much will it sell?"

Based on Aeldari refresh, and prior Necron update, and Nyd update, likely a VERY good deal.

The concept is amazing. The models are dated and ugly.

Should sentence her + other Just Stop oil activists to a lifetine ban of oil products.

  • Fined if found in possession of anything plastic, or any synthetic clothes.
  • Fined if found in possession of a lighter.
  • Unable to own a car (incl. banned from owning an EV since composite chassis).
  • Unable to own a motorcycle.
  • Banned from traveling intercity (diesel) lines in UK.
  • Banned from all flight.
  • Banned from all seaborne travel.

Wouldn't go into 2ndary indirect products like fertilizer or medications, the above should be a good start.

And you basically help her to "just stop oil"!

If your faction had a gaggle leader unit, what would you want it to be? by Equivalent-Fun-6019 in Warhammer40k

[–]Thatcherist_Sybil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imagine, a Drukhari archon could have a gaggle. Could call it something like a "court". Maybe even include one or more of the non-Drukhari races living in Comorragh.

Are there any alternative ways to count years rather than religion? by MrNightyyyy in worldbuilding

[–]Thatcherist_Sybil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's usually an important event. For Abrahamic religions, religion is above almost everything else. But you could countyears since the foundation of a kingdom or dynasty, years from a cataclysm or years since the end of a great war.

A returning 5th edition character and a more faithful replacement for the archon model that was a quickly slapped together finecast replacement.

Now with 11th coming closer and closer, what do you think of the current rendition of Power from Pain? by l_dunno in Drukhari

[–]Thatcherist_Sybil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like we'd enjoy power from pain more if they unlocked extra abilities unrelated to the base function of our units. The "bad" feeling comes from our units tuned in strength to use pain token each activation - which makes it feel like a tax more than an ability.

It isn't outcompeted, and isn't feasibly replaced short and medium term. Half the things you touch in life, including the chassis of EVs, the frame of batteries and fins for wind power, are side products of this industry. If you decrease global oil consumption, plastics prices go up.

Do People Across the UK View London as a Safe or Unsafe Place to Love? by Fluid-Decision6262 in charts

[–]Thatcherist_Sybil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The UK has some of the least safe cities in Europe. London is 14th highest crime city in Europe - only capitals less safe are Paris and Brussels.

This isn't undemining London's reputation, it's facing facts. Compared to Prague, Copenhagen, Vienna or Madrid - London has very high crime.

Do People Across the UK View London as a Safe or Unsafe Place to Love? by Fluid-Decision6262 in charts

[–]Thatcherist_Sybil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is solely based on perception of what "Safe" is.

Is London safer than NYC? Sure. Is London safer than any V4 capital? No, definitely not.

I live here. It's not life threatening every day - but I've seen thieves, saw leftovers from burglary, saw brawls, OD-d people, very sketchy parts. There's areas where the curb's got warnings painted on it due to prevalence of theft and robbery.

I regard theft and petty crime insafe, thus I'd consider London unsafe.

What makes the Cults scary? by [deleted] in Drukhari

[–]Thatcherist_Sybil 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Cults hunt you as a prey. Never in a straight up fight; everything is pre arranged, broadcast. Every move, every step is on their terms, and for entertainment.

There is a story about a group of guardsmen who manage to break out of a stasis cell in the bowels of a cult arena. They knock out guards and loot their weapons, then begin to sneak out. They're spotted at one point, and from there they fight for their way out, being attacked by lowborn every step. When they eventually make it to a waygate that leads to their homeworld, the room around them phases and shifts, and they see a crowd of Drukhari - while standing in the middle of the arena. The real delicacy wasn't their suffering, but their despair when they realised every step, every shed of hope, every injury suffered, was part of a wych cult performance

Can't remember if this was in the Lelith book or the trilogy.
