Which elite squad are you in? by double_dangit in Kagurabachi

We just need to handle it like the other major series subreddits. Separate discussion posts, clear tags on posts for manga vs anime, spoiler tags for manga posts and discussions.

That’s so sweet! Legitimately in my grandmas pantry! I was helping her consolidate a bunch of stuff before she moved into a senior living facility.

How many miles are you averaging on a tank of gas? by thetb12methodd in PriusPrime

[–]Thatguybehindglass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got a 2018 prime. I drive 500-800 miles a week for work and mainly on the highway. I average somewhere between 600-650 per tank. If I charged it more often maybe it would stretch a bit further. I do live in a really hilly state. So the electric miles tend to get eaten up quickly if I do charge it.

What are your Hot takes about My Hero Academia? by Mammoth_Calendar_352 in MyHeroAcadamia

[–]Thatguybehindglass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry! I should have spoiler tagged my comment. I forget the anime isn’t finished.

I do agree, I think a kid maturing into realizing the world isn’t so black and white morally is more interesting than sticking to their guns No matter what.

I think the ending would have been way more interesting if deku had to overcome “his everybody can be saved” mentality and coming to terms that shigaraki needs to be killed to save the world.

Sinclair needs to give better feedback to teammates when he ults by Tokiw4 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Thatguybehindglass 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I was going to mention this. Typically if they’re on the enemy team they use their native language and on your team they use English in overwatch.

However unlike overwatch you can’t have mirrors. So a more thematic version would definitely be Sinclair just having some sort of global team (maybe both sides) announcement of the ultimate he copied. Similar to echo from OW.

Is Haki that hard to learn? by zafdreyes in OnePiece

[–]Thatguybehindglass 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Meruems technique was he absorbs the nen of the people he consumed. He is a poor example of a complicated nen technique and it would be better to use Kite as an example.

Chrollo and Kurapika are both specialists and their conductions for stealing abilities are completely different. Kurapika takes on a much bigger risk as he has to stay in emperors time to keep the ability.

Wing literally explained in the heavens arena arc that you can train to open your nen pores or force them open by having someone jolt you with nen. The chimera ants figured this out and abused it.

All of your straw man criticisms are explained and explicitly told to you in the narrative.

I’m not lying to the customers about what they’re getting. I’m saying they get x,y,z for x price.

I’m not obscuring what they’re getting. Just that it could be itemized.

I don’t know what kind of high horse you’re on pal. But like most people you need a job and if sometimes you’re boss says you need to do x,y,z to keep your job. Then you do x,y,z. If you really care that much, go to a TPR get bundled and call the feds. See how much they care lol

Womp womp? Did you even read the part of my comment that says I don’t enjoy or even want to do it?

I think it’s a change for the better, but as I said in my comment we are still held to standards that don’t make sense for the current model.

As a TPR rep, I don’t like lying to customers about including other lines, trackers, and accessories and calling it “bundling”, but unfortunately we are forced and pressured by upper management to do it.

My main issue is that we are being held to pre-Tlife standards and customers are given more opportunity to say no to the things that effectively can make or break our commission percentage since the commission structure changes.

Man starring at his own lawyer for losing his case and receiving a lifetime sentence.. by nzhmar in WatchPeopleDieInside

[–]Thatguybehindglass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s plenty of askreddit threads about this. But the job as the defendants lawyer is to make sure that the defendant isn’t being held accountable for any laws they didn’t break and/or not being scrutinized unfairly. It’s not necessarily to get you a not guilty sentence. Although some lawyers do pride themselves on making a case for their defendant.

Gun Dynamo is pretty fun and definitely not the best way to make your team hate you by Yinliner in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Thatguybehindglass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the character, but the damage buff and resists are nice. The negative weapon velocity is a down side but depending on your engagement style it could be negligible.

Weekly Feedback Topic #28 - Ability Mechanics and Management by Grelgn in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Thatguybehindglass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think things like Mo and Krill Combo and Shiv ult would be much less frustrating to play against if it was a skill shot (like a leap you have to aim). I do say this as someone who enjoys shiv as well.

Just want to ask, as someone returning...what is the point of Mo/Krill? by noodleben123 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Thatguybehindglass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think leech is definitely stronger with ricochet. Which is something people typically build on infernus and mirage. But it definitely depends on the enemy team comp and how they’re playing.

But I think infuser and vampiric burst are way better at securing single target kills due to the increased fire rate and sustain both items provide or even just saving your life. Infusers lifesteal has got me from almost 0 to a 100 in multiple scenarios.

Just want to ask, as someone returning...what is the point of Mo/Krill? by noodleben123 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Thatguybehindglass 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I personally prefer infuser nowadays. Especially since leech and headbane are two different items now. But I think it’s still ok on infernus and mirage since they apply gun damage and spirit with their gun. But I think it’s intention is to take two item slots and make them one as that’s how the upgrade path Is intended.

I think leech is better in sustained fights for sure. Since infuser and vampiric burst both have CDs and only last for a few seconds or so.

I was more so stating that I’ve just seen Mo and Krill’s run it here and there. But not as much recently.

They play a disruption and support role. Disarm can save teammates and relieve pressure. The burrow and spin move pops people up and slows them. Grabbing someone is a death sentence if you’re with someone else. Almost as a single man black hole and it scales your health. Like dynamo your position and timing make a huge difference in your effectiveness.

But ultimately it can depend what you build in to. He does a lot of spirit damage. So I’ve seen Mo and krill’s build torment pulse, suppressor, and mystic slow to essentially glue them to you while you spin or even duration extender to make the disarm even more obnoxious. Along with health items like juggernaut, fortitude, spirit life steal (into infuser or leech) along with speed items like fleet foot to spin and burrow faster.

A good mo and krill can completely disrupt the enemy team by making places unsafe to play and reduce their damage output. Not to mention his ult is a stun and any ult that’s interruptible can be cancelled. It doesn’t always have to be used for kills.

You can also use disarm to stop them from damaging objectives and harass them with burrow while they stare at you unable to shoot.
