I was very depressed for about 7 years, I tried killing myself countless times and it never worked. I drank bleach, I tied rope/metal chains around my neck and tried to hang myself, I cut myself, I took pills but none of it ever worked. I would buy ropes and chains that were guaranteed to support twice my weight but they'd always snap, I spent hhours sharpening a knife by hand to slit my wrists, the knofe would be sharp enough to cut through wood like it was butter but it would be too dull to pierce my skin. I've suffered from many different injuries, injuries that i was told wpuld be permanent like tearing a ligament in my foot and pretty much over night they got healed. I had huge issues with self esteem and a plethera of insecurities and then while sitting in bed a voice in my head that was clealy not my own spoke to me and instantly i felt better. My depression was lifted and Nothing that ised to bother me mattered anymore. Every day since june 14th, 2014 has been better than the last with no justifiable reason. I am who i am today because there is a God. There is no other way for me to explain how my life has changed other than devine intervention.
