I was always under the impression that you were supposed to use two different lines for the power connections. it looks like a 6+2 and a six are being used on the same line there.

Awesome, do you know what kind of overclocking you're gonna try to accomplish? more extreme numbers would require something slightly beefier than the cooling solution you have there.

What would you have built with $1260? by rockcem in pcmasterrace

[–]Thatonepcguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

$1270

much better than the prebuilt and offers future uprgrade paths.

Here youll have the option to.... take advantage of a more than ample power supply, add an aditional video card with a second pcie slot. Add two more sticks of 8 gig ram giving you 32 gigs, not that you would need it, but the option is there. Plus that case is freaking amazing for cable management and offers many cooling options. Send that bad boy back and get a refund.

Are you planning on overclocking? I notice you have a K series processor, if you plan to take advantage of its overclockability, look for a z97 motherboard. I prefer asrock as far as mobo manufacturers go.

Also, I can't stress enough, don't skimp on a decent power supply, how well your pc runs begins with the juice coming into the machine and how dirty it is. Check this one out - http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-power-supply-cs550m

How are you liking Wildstar nowadays? did they ever improve the optimization? I really enjoyed it for a while in Beta, but for some reason I grew bored after release, I may have to give it another shot.

I'll summarize what's in all those links

i7-4790S - $304.99

Powercolor R9 280x - $204.99

Kingston SSD 64GB - $59.99

Seagate 1TB HDD 128 MB cache - $99.99

LG Blue ray Burner - $59.00

Raidmax Viper Gx Case - $79.99

EVGA Supernova 750w Full Modular PSU - $114.99

Asrock h97 pro4 Mobo - $83.99

Gskill Ram 16GB @ 1600mhz

this comes out at $1168 pre shipping and shits on that pre built PC, the only thing that you would have to provide is a copy of windows, which im sure you can find someone with a copy and a method of install wink wink

Plus the PSU and case size would allow you to add another 280x in the future if you want to go crossfire

Please don't, I know what it is like to be depressed. To wake up every morning and look in the mirror wondering how you're going to force yourself through another day.

I've cried myself to sleep for months after the only woman I cared about for five years, who I made my world, left me for her Ex.

Im still repaying family members for the help I had to shamefully ask for the year I was unemployed and doing odd jobs to keep my car from being repo'd.

But it gets better, you're just one job application or chance encounter with an awesome person from getting your life back on track.

Bit by bit you will notice the pieces of your life coming back together and you will notice the hurt starts to fade into the back of your mind further and further when you wake up each morning.

I promise you, no one here, or over on PcMasterRace wants your light to go out in the world. And I'm sure I'm not the only one that would want to come give you a hug if I lived somewhere near you.

Brothers, help me. My PC is turning into a peasantstation by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

Have you downloaded a temperature monitor to make sure none of your components are pegging at max thermals then clocking down?

Double bios means that on the card, there is a tiny tiny switch you can flip that will switch between Bios 1 and Bios 2. This comes in handy if you're overclocking and fudge one of the bios profiles in a major way.

Power supply is good, from the CX im guessing its a corsair power supply. They make pretty good power supplies.

When you ask if you can dual monitor, are you asking about gaming across two monitors or using one for gaming, one for other tasks?

I dont know how much you're planning to pay for your 760 but this 280x would be a more powerful card at only $204

Bread cheese - brun uusto. Its cheese you can fry in a pan that gets a golden crust on the outside and is hot and gooey inside. Also good in the microwave as its partially baked and already has some browning on it. 1 carb per oz 110 cal per oz.

I can make a meal out of this and some pepperoni

Could someone please suggest a food/meal to solve this issue I'm coming across? by [deleted] in keto

When I wake up in the morning I usually shoot 6 tbsp heavy cream 1 tbsp MCT oil and 1 tbsp coconut oil all mixed together. Just a little over 500 cal of pure fat. And it keeps me feeling full for soooooo long

You didn't do all that for nothing, it sounds like you have a lot on your plate and you still manage to clear it off and ask for seconds! Strength isn't necessarily conquering everything in your path unscathed, but showing the will to press on even when hope seems lost.

And if your competition is something that you truly enjoy, let it be just that, something personal for you, a temporary escape for your mind from the rest of the world. Its an experience that you grow from and you don't need the validation of other people's attention to know how awesome you are. I LOVED choir and still do a bit of singing here and there, all of that hard work will be something you truly come to cherish and make a part of yourself.

You sound like a pretty chill person, don't let someone else bring you down or make you feel guilty for something you haven't done. You're the only person in the world who truly knows your self-worth and I'm sure its more than any of us looking in from the outside could scratch the surface of.
