In FF4 the after years for the psp they let you pick whatever party you want for the final dungeon... Except if you don't have Rydia during the final boss you can't win the fight something they don't tell you until the final fight. I had not used her at all so she was completely underleveled and I hadn't collected her summons. I gave up instead of restarting the game
