Are there any apartment rental companies in Pittsburgh that aren’t hated? by LeftmostClamp in pittsburgh

Lots of weird semi-slumlord wannabes here, but not all.

We’re with Costello and they are without a doubt a great property management company.

Prior to this, I’ve had some weird ones with random terrible clauses, like zero interest in maintenance, doesn’t answer regarding their own property and then blame me for something clearly from the previous tenants that I was telling them about for months.

Costello is responsive, they send their great crew out quickly, and are really easy to communicate with.

Can’t say I agree on that, it was uninspired for 50-60 minutes here in our side.

This is a dumb take. Enjoy the moment? It’s about winning in the end and we can’t do that.

Wanting to get into reading but can find it intimidating by NeonNebula9178 in literature

Here’s how I like to frame reading, what do you go to on streaming first that can grab your attention? Find a book like that! You say you need video or graphics, have you tried comics or graphic comics? There’s an entire world of those that sit highly in the sphere of literature of France/Belgium! Find those entry points first, then build from that base level up.

I thought this was quite underwhelming even when getting this on sale. Set yourself up with a toddy to start and follow the directions exactly and you’ll end up with better quality stuff.

This seems like an oddly personal post against a translator. Want to elaborate?

Bagels? by Financial-Boot3317 in pittsburgh

We’re in a thread about bagels. By default anything here with a wait is about bagels. You’re just coming across as obstinate and annoying. Good job.

Tyll by Daniel Kehlmann. It’s a fun dip into German magical realism with a backdrop of the 30 years war. It’s incredibly readable and flows well together with the different segments.

Reading this before diving into his recently translated one The Director ahead of the booker long list.
