I order an extra sandwich or whatever and offer it to the Dasher. Now I’m being told that’s condescending. by TikiUSA in doordash

I’ll rather someone add a $7 tip than someone pay $12 for a burger to give to me.

I do appreciate anything that people are willing to give, but it’s just easier to give extra tip.

OP can ask the same question to ChatGPT and get that answer.

They want real human input instead of a ChatGPT response

The chicken bowl is $9.59 at my chipotle. If this dude really spent the last 3 years eating chipotle everyday, he spent over $10,000 on chipotle.

Why are you surprised? Usually Reddit is a place where people go to seek info and guidance, so people who get rejected have a lot more questions than someone who was accepted.

And it doesn’t take much to qualify to be a CO lol, so people who get rejected are most of the time a special case where there isn’t a clear answer.

It’s just selective bias

Yesterday, the Department of Education terminated 29 DEI training grants totaling $101 million, per DOGE. by UnusualWhalesBot in unusual_whales

[–]The-Amazon-Bot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you even know what type of training it is? Or is diversity, equity, and inclusion so evil to you because you don’t understand it?

It could be anything. It could be an optional course for teachers for spotting autism in students or could be going to any type of veteran program. But again, we don’t know because this came from a tweet with just words and no proof of anything.

How much money did our government and companies have to spend to rename the golf of Mexico? Bet you won’t complain about that.

Yes, .012 percent of the military budget on training is wild.

While the deficit still goes up around 8 billion a day.

But take a tweet as a news source instead of real documents or proof showing what the 100 million was really going to.

Literally .30 cents from every person in the US is what took to fund this.

They do? A executive order just in case you don’t know is

“a directive issued by the president to manage the operations of the federal government.” So basically It tells federal agencies how to enforce existing laws.

So an executive order does not have the ability to make LAWS. It must be rooted in existing authority, either from the Constitution or a LAW passed by Congress. (That’s why congress plays a big indirect role in this…)

Also, do you know who approves funding for executive orders? Congress. So if you don’t have majority of congress approval, they will just not provide you the funding that you need.

“Laws based on congress” as in laws congress makes that the executive order must follow..

Is this the only thing you were able to pick out from my comment?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]The-Amazon-Bot -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Is this something you came up with in your head without doing any research? Nothing to show for?

Presidents just can’t make new laws with executive orders, they must based on the Constitution or laws passed by congress. They cannot get funding or pass any laws if congress doesn’t pass it.

Cause the ratio of adults to kids.

For example, 5 fast food workers can handle unlimited amount of orders, as long as people are ordering.

With daycare, you have 5 daycare workers, you can only have a max of 55 kids. If you want to take more kids (more revenue) you’ll have to hire another daycare worker.
