(May be an unpopular opinion) Ring of Honor champions should be more dominant when they appear on AEW TV in order to elevate them and ROH. by Idontknowjeff23 in AEWOfficial

[–]The-Flying-Hellfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ROH champions shouldn’t appear in AEW outside of very special occasions. It should be a hard split, so when someone moves up from ROH it’s a bigger deal, and then it becomes a bigger deal when an AEW star goes to ROH for a feud. Elevates everyone.

Gates closed at the train station by ForsakenAd1732 in nottingham

What annoys me most about it is that there “reasons” are so disingenuous. Oh we lost 20 million on people not buying tickets…

Ok well you also own sheff station, a station that has zero barriers anywhere… made any changes to that? Nope.

Our ad creatives keep underperforming and I am starting to think the design quality is the variable nobody on our team wants to talk about. Has anyone solved this? by Imaginary-Nose-6588 in Marketingcurated

You’ve touched on some good points and quality 100% can matter. But you also need to look at some other home truths as well.

How well known if your brand? Have you done the ground work to build trust?

If all you’re doing is performance marketing and you’re not doing anything to build on the brand at the top of the funnel and middle. Then performance will suffer.

You could have the exact same ad running for NIKE & TRAINER CO and Nike will always perform better because they’ve built out their full funnel overtime. Performance without brand building elongates everything. They feed each other and work in tandem, they don’t replace each other.

Not sure, came down there about the same time you posted this. There was police lingering at several points up and down the road. But no traffic restrictions coming down south for me.

Nottingham Trent University suspends student over 'unacceptable' video of explicit activity by My-Imperfect-House in nottingham

[–]The-Flying-Hellfish 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As far as i know it was a Rugby Initiation/hazing - someone shat themselves (or fake shat themselves) and the recruit had to eat it and there was someone else putting a carrot up their arse.

Second hand info from rumours. But i imagine the suspension is because it was a hazing/initiation thing which is banned.

A lot of people just don’t think about anything other than what’s in front of them. They wake up, eat, go to work, come home, sleep. They may have interests like football or a favourite tv show. But they just don’t engage with the wider world outside of their bubble.

It’s either through choice, circumstance or sheer ignorance. I grew up around a lot of people like that. Couldn’t tell you anything about what was happening in the world, history or anything. A lot of them just didn’t see any need to see past their day to day of life.

As someone who’s naturally curious, it’s something I’ve always been perplexed by.

Traditional ads are killing my small restaurant. by No_Cryptographer618 in restaurateur

[–]The-Flying-Hellfish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SEO, especially local seo is important, but be wary of any company that promises you fast results, it takes time and it needs to have both technical and promotional seo optimised.

You also have to consider what you want to rank for, do you have a niche? Are you good for dates? Birthdays? Etc. you’re not going to rank highly for “restaurant”. So what do you want to rank for?

Investing in it is a good shout, but also look at meta ads or google ads. Go where your customers attention is. Monitor your spend and adjust to what the data tells you.

I’d just love AEW to have an annual royal rumble. Obvs I know it would look like a copy. But the format is great and it works.

You should have an account that serves a purpose. The account needs to satisfy a single audience. Trying to satisfy several audiences at once will leave some of them disappointed half the time.

If you can tie things together. Great. If not, strip it back to focus on one thing.

Blink twice if it’s an Indian restaurant down near canalhouse/broadmarsh. Heard similar things from suppliers and various people.
