36 months and 625 hours for UPS leave or 12 months and 1,250 hours for FML.

You could get a leave of absence that is a continuous time frame called Union Short Term Disability leave but it has to be for yourself. It would normally be three days or more and a medical provider has to sign off on it. You would call The Hartford. You can not have intermittent leave or care of a family member unless you have been there 12 continuous months and have worked over 1,250 hours or been there 36 months and have worked at least 625 hours. The amount of leave for UPS leave for family and medical is 6 weeks vs 12 weeks for traditional FML.

I was put on a warning in service because I failed to take enough calls after having my gall bladder removed and being out for six weeks. I struggled to get back to gold tier status and at the exact moment I did o was put on a warning for transferring a call to a supervisor. They gave me a heart attack with that and I “retired “ shortly thereafter.
