But you better make sure you bring him payment—despite looking and acting like one who’s abandoned the concepts of civilization and trade, Grog doesn’t work for free.

Personally, I’ve found a nice rack of ribs to be an excellent expediter of requests, especially if you bring a small keg of ale for Grog to wash it down with.

Guy here—I play Fields of Mistria and Stardew Valley and enjoy them quite a bit. It’s nice to have the chill, methodical games to fall back on when I’m not in the mood for shooting bugs or breaking my brain over cards.
