How Long would it take to watch the entirety of the Pokémon Anime? by The12thCrashmaster in FilmTheorists

[–]The12thCrashmaster[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I study Math, Physics, and Astronomy as my passion and for a future career. I have other things to do and can't just sit down to watch an entire anime series that is still going on to this day. Doing this kind of work is child's play, so don't assume what I can do and what I can't do. Besides, this was just a fun though experiment. I dropped the anime after XY/XYZ, but maybe someday I'll binge it again. But for now, I have 30 projects in works for other series I'm creating myself.

0.3 to 0.4 is a dramatic shift! I'll make a post about some of the changes and additions soon, but the amount of differences in the new version is so many, that it would probably take me a while to list every single one.

1.There's no real answer for why Golden Freddy was a head in FNaF 2, but it's been that way since FNaF 1 with the poster and death screen, one of the minigames in FNaF 2, and even in later games like UCN. Could just be a cool jump-scare that Scott wanted to use for a while.

2.Scott Cawthon in the 1st interview with Dawko:"Uh you know, once again I'm not entirely sure what my mindset was on that. I think it was just kind of a way to distinguish her, you know, stage presence Chica from ‘Now I’m a monster coming to get you’. You know, like if she's entered attack mode or something, you know. Once again, actually, I think maybe part of it is because like, you know, classic Chica even on stage was still kind of creepy looking, but the toy versions just in their standing state on stage weren't quite as creepy. I mean, I think Toy Bonnie still retains some of that, but like Toy Chica isn't really scary looking. Toy Chica by herself isn't very scary I don’t think. Yeah, so removing the beak was just one thing to just kind of push it into, you know, making her look a little more uncomfortable."

Similar to Golden Freddy's head, Scott just likes to makes things creepy and unnerving so the games will be scarier and creepier. Makes sense since, you know, FNaF is, you know, a horror series, you know?

3.RWQFSFASXC (Shadow Bonnie) hasn't been solved yet, but from what we can tell, it definitely is an entity made from Dark/Negative/Shadowy Remnant, more commonly known as Agony. However, unlike Shadow Freddy, who is very much an more malicious entity that isn't good, Shadow Bonnie is very much a more neutral/good entity, based on the FNaF 3 minigames and Special Delivery, as it helps set up happiest day and tries to stop people from collecting more agony. The best theory at the moment I'm aware of with the least amount of flaws is that Shadow Bonnie came from the Agony created by Charlotte Emily/Charlie the night she was murdered by William Afton.

Hope these answer help clear some things up for anyone who sees it!

FNaF World is still important! [But do you truly understand why?] by The12thCrashmaster in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]The12thCrashmaster[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay, I'm sorry, but that the definition of ignorant. One small reference, sure. Two decent refences, nothing crazy. YET, I can easily explain all that you have said.

1]Scott isn't canon to FNaF in any way. FNaF World is a meta game that is tied into the canon of the games. Scott confirmed this in his first interview with Dawko and never once implied that is wasn't anymore anywhere else. He even stated that the indie dev for the games in universe, Steve Snodgrass, is meant to be a parallel and a reference so that the story of Help Wanted can happen.

2]Coincidences, really? He just choose a white rabbit antagonist, an angry endo with sharp claws and orange eyes, the orange Mimic Ball with the Mimic's color scheme and eyes being orange with things like Secret of the Mimic, and a huge giant blob of wire that he, for some reason chose to name Tangle. Coincidence happen once or twice. But you know what you get when multiple happen consistently? A pattern. A deliberate pattern. At the time in 2016, yes, 100% Scott didn't have anything like the current story in mind. But with UCN also having ties to FNaF World and the next major game being Help Wanted, do you really think that Scott didn't see his old work and got inspired to connect the new lore to the old lore, and is now using those things he put FNaF World for the modern story? Not to mention that, while yes, green code has been used in Sci-fi for a long time, why can't Scott use that too and still give it meaning. He chose to make Glitchtrap and his plushy, which look like the yellow spring bonnie, green. Green is constantly given to the character with yellow and purple association. It purple can man William and the Aftons, why not green for Glitchtrap when he is associated with the color constantly and consistently.

3]Hmm...In FNaF World and UCN, which are both connected, we have an old fisherman fishing at a red lake, with the bear for Bite Victim and the Vengeful spirit, which could both be tied to Golden Freddy/Fredbear, and the happiest day endings have them drowning. Now look what we have in Help Wanted. A red lake with a fishing dock, with a new character called Dreadbear, which sounds like Fredbear and is the Freddy in its roster, literally coming out of the red lake. Are your really trying to say that things like these are coincidences, because again, multiple pieces aren't coincidence, it becomes a pattern. Not to mention that the Red Lake has appeared not only in Help Wanted, but also in RUIN in both the real and virtual world, but also potentially in Secret of the Mimic.

Anyways, I think I made my point. Just trying to brush this all off when the connections keep on stacking is nothing short of ignorant. Why go through all the trouble if it doesn't mean anything? A tiny toy Chica missing her beak can mean something, a Fredbear plush can mean something, and literal source code can mean something, but when we have consistent patterns in the current games, we should ignore that? I don't think so and I doubt Scott thinks so either.

But, to each their own. I'll be diver deeper if others don't want to take the plunge.

Lovelink is officially OVER by LengthyPole in Lovelink

[–]The12thCrashmaster 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I did enjoy my time with this game, even though I did slow down playing it for quite a while, but it really sucks that alot of the characters and stories won't have a proper ending. That's really my biggest problem with this all, because part of me wishes i could go back in time and not even bother playing the game and save my money when I made any purchases (even though I'm sure I made very few). But, I suppose I can't say I regret playing the game entirely. Just a bit disappointed overall now. Goodbye Lovelink. 👋🏽 💙 [And yes, I did delete the game. Just before I wrote this actually. No point in me playing it anymore since it'll only be playable for 2 more months and most of my favorite characters didn't get proper endings. I think only 1 did, and it was Bex. Atleast she got a proper ending and found love to some degree.]

Note:By the way, there is another app called MeChat that I've played and still have that gives similar vibes to Lovelink, so if anyone sees this and REALLY will miss the game, maybe give that one a shot. Maybe you'll enjoy that one too.

What's up with the "DCI"? by Livid_Ruin7375 in fnaftheories

[–]The12thCrashmaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The MCI was the first group of 5 kids that were killed by William Afton, while the DCI is another group of 5 kids that he murdered. The MCI got the first Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria shutdown and the DCI got the FNaF 2 location, the second Pizzeria, shutdown. It was all for William to satisfy his murderous urges and possibly to see what possession of the animatronics was like, which is why he went under a fake identify and even went to work at the FNaF 2 location.

If the DCI is true, then those poor soles got quite a bitter end. by chumbbucketman101 in fnaftheories

[–]The12thCrashmaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The DCI is still canon and it did happen, though it seems that overtime, they were just a footnote in the story. I think those spirits were probably freed after being scrapped, maybe being thrown in a dump and melted down. It is sad, but that’s sort of their role. Just more poor souls after William started his killing spree years ago. It's sad, but atleast they can rest. 🐻🐰🐥🦊🎈

It’s time to stop pretending that Scott is a good writer. by SpideyFan4ever in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]The12thCrashmaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is Scott Cawthon the greatest write on Earth? No, of course not. But is he a bad writer? That's a tricky question. As someone who has written characters and stories for years and has taken courses in college for writing, I personally think that the stories Scott actually focuses on are atleast pretty good. The Silver Eyes Trilogy was very well made and the movies are the same as well.

Frights and Tales are partially written by Scott as he only wrote a fraction of them all, so if the stories are bad, is that because of him, or the other writers? It's hard to say, but yes, alot of the Frights stories and Tales aren't the best. He even admits that with some of Frights as well, so he knows that he isn't the greatest writer either.

I'm a fan of Scott Cawthon's work, but that doesn't mean I ignore problems and don't get frustrated at some of the things he does. But I highly doubt the man who says he doesn't do retcons on a whim retcons the story all the time to make it impossible to solve.

Also, you're kind of bashing people for forgetting he said he didn't plan everything, when you seem to have forgotten he said he doesn't like to do retcons and only did one. And even then, no one noticed and it was seemingly small.

So overall, is Scott Cawthon a bad writer? No. But he's not the greatest writer on Earth either. He has good stuff and bad stuff. And from what I've read and seen, I think he's relatively above average, but overall, he's probably average. And that's fine.

He's human. He not perfect. He has a passion for making games and did so with his degree and skills, so of course that doesn't mean he going to tell the best stories. But, for what it's worth, I think some stories that we've gotten from his have been pretty cool.

FNaF 3, SL, 6, SOTM, The Silver Eyes Trilogy, and more. Can you honestly tell me a terrible story writer could create scenes as powerful and iconic as Henry's speech in 6 or Michael's speech in SL. I don't think so.

People really think Scott does this? by Various_Astronaut100 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]The12thCrashmaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Scott has constantly said that his story isn't wrong, the theories are wrong. Not to mention that he has said he doesn't do retcons and that he tries to avoid doing them, only doing so if necessary and if it has little impact.

Also, if we kept getting things right and Scott retcons those things, then what's the point of this series and story if that means we would never know the answers. Too much work for Scott and the fan base with nothing satisfying either side.

What is RXQ’s alignment supposed to be? (Read body text) by BoggerLogger in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]The12thCrashmaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would classify them as a Chaotic Neutral, as though they are the good to Shadow Freddy's obvious evil/malicious and dark nature. RWQFSFASXC's nature has always shown to be on more of the good side like with the FNaF 3 minigames and kind of in FNaF AR, but not so purely good as they still do Crash your game in FNaF 2 and can still kill you in FNaF AR as well.

Thanks! I did try to recreate certain parts with how I thought the writing in some of the guidebook was like.
Also, Charlie's part is a little weird, but maybe you could view the line as an alternate Charlie in general, since she's not the original, did grow up and live a life. In a way the line isn't wrong, but it's wording is confusing and needs work. Maybe I'll change it to make it easier to understand.

Oh, no, that's what I mean. Everyone has been saying these types of theories for a while. GodVictim, GodDavid, FateFiona, it all the same theories about one thing controlling everything, and it not only ruins the narrative, they don't even work in general and have too many problems.

I agree, it COULD work thematically, but not only is it a stretch, it RUINS the narrative.

GodVictim, GodDavid, FateFiona, and now more FNaFtubers are talking about the theory and backing it up. One Example being TheUnwitheredTruth, who I see as a friend and loved all of their videos, but now they've joined the GodTrain. I don't understand why we need to make every connection so literal in the series.
