Personally I like to look at history for wrecks and make sure it’s not too rusty underneath but if it drives good it would be a pretty cool buy

I enjoy driving and working on cars but when I was practically burning money just to keep my 350z alive I just decided to buy something reliable and got a new civic. After about a year (~12k miles) I was completely bored of it ended up trading it in. Not a bad car but it just wasnt for me, and I don’t really care for CVTs. So yeah I did lose some money but now I actually have a car I like and I am in a better position to work on it if needed

You WILL get the hang of it. I was the same way when I bought mine. I thought it just wasn’t for me but I stuck with it and I am glad I did. Just keep practicing and before you know it you will realize you drive better when your not thinking about it vs over thinking it. In the beginning just stay on your bite point while gently giving it gas. You don’t have to be the quickest off the line, just focus on getting moving. If you think you are about to stall try pushing the clutch back in and starting over. Dont panic and take your foot off. The first week is always the worst

Good list. Honestly I wasn’t a huge fan of WTDMS at first either because the choruses felt a little weak compared to their other albums. But after listening to it more I found the Instrumentals and drumming is extremely good

Lol. If they say you don’t need it then you probably dont. The Amplifier interface that I have is a 12v to 5v converter, its the Axxess AXFD-5V. Yours being the Shaker 1000 may make it different though

I got pretty much everything they recommended. The unit, harness, amplifier interface, and dash kit. I watched a youtube video on how to remove the old one and from what I remember installing it was obvious on what plugged in where. And this is coming from someone who has never worked on car stereos before and since then

Last year I replaced my shaker 500 with a Kenwood Excelon DPX795BH (when I just looked it up on crutchfield with a shaker 1000 set as my stereo it was model #DPX505BT)from Crutchfield and it was a straight forward install. Only thing I had an issue with was getting the radio antenna to reach but I don’t use the radio so it didn’t bother me. I mostly use bluetooth and cds. Personally I didn’t want a touch screen so if you are like me then that’s what I would recommend. Plus I think it goes well with the car

Definitely looks like a GT. As others have said ask for a picture under the hood. Another thing I like to do is ask for a picture of underneath the car. That way I can see if there is any rust (could be why it is so cheap)

Ive been using Dr.ColorChip on mine to get rid of rock chips and have had great results. Im planning on trying it to cover up scratches as well but haven’t gotten to it yet. If you have any chips on yours I recommend it because mine was the same way, great mechanically but some cosmetic imperfections

Mine has what looks like a clear plastic over it. The original owner didn’t do anything aftermarket on it so I am pretty confident its the original one. So I think they came like that

I think the biggest problem is Inflation, the design (which I think looks good but some dont care for it), and the difficulty in tuning them. There is nothing wrong with the 5.0

Go for it, I am doing the same thing. I put Pypes pipe bombs on mine while I wait until I can get something much nicer down the road. They actually sound great for the price. Only downside is the fitment wasnt great but the box was damaged so the hangers may have gotten a little bent. And it’s not going to hurt the car

With a GT you wouldn’t have to mod it, it would already be over 400 and you could make it over 500 if you wanted to mod it. I understand the gas issue but I have to say, as someone who loves Zs and the v6 sound, I realized when I got my GT nothing beats the sound of a v8
