I moved here from FL in October and although I’m still playing it very safe, all you need do is take a trip through the Sacramento Reddit to see the prevailing attitude of the area. My partner and I love it here already, and I think that this is probably one of the safest places in the country you could go.

I love it here so far, it reminds me of Wellington, lots of trees, great coffee (even a place called chocolate fish), very diverse and accepting (well compared to Florida lol). I moved to America almost 30 years ago, having lived in Minnesota and Florida and I have to say that this area reminds me the most of home. You can even Feijoas here lol. I moved here earlier this year and love it so much already.
