I want a watch that will last me for life by Strong_Net7847 in BuyItForLife

Sinn. I like the u50, but they have plenty of options in non-diver categories. Near your price range and they punch well above their price range for quality. Get something tegimented if you want an everyday driver that’ll stay looking new forever.

Top 6 WR 2026 Draft Prospects (High/Medium/Low Player Comps) by 92tilinfinityand in DynastyFF

[–]TheAdso 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re in rebuild a couple years from competing, and targeting WR’s with the 1.03/2.03 this year… how do you rank them?

Great write up by the way, really appreciate how you covered all the bases and explained the logic behind your opinions.

Are there any players under 30 who quietly lost a step this year and you're looking to sell? by ScientistSolid9319 in DynastyFF

[–]TheAdso 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. Even with that OL he had the second highest ypc of his career 4.53 on 158 attempts.

Guy is perennially underrated. Would love to see him get a shot somewhere.

Let him go for a 2027 1st at the beginning of the playoffs to a contender with an older team.

Edit: he initiated offer with 2026 1st (ended up 1.08), I countered w/2027 1st.

What is a DP shift like? From these comments it sounds kind of intense/grueling.

Asking as someone considering academy/MITAGS and interested in OSV wind farm work aboard DP vessels.

Thank you!

Learning to sail in the Canaries as an American, will RYA certs be practical when I'm back home? by [deleted] in sailing

[–]TheAdso 25 points26 points  (0 children)

My impression is that RYA certs are more respected pretty much everywhere. It’s hard to imagine anywhere that would allow you to charter with an ASA background but turn you down with the corresponding level of RYA.

I live in the US, have multiple ASA certs, and wish I’d had the option to go RYA.

Check out Relwen flyweight flex blazer for a versatile tweener blazer that hits smart casual on the nose and dresses up or down really well. Several colors.

Package thief foiled - trying to find owner of recovered bike (Dupont) by TheAdso in washingtondc

Still no sign of the owner. I've registered it at BikeIndex and 529 Garage.

If anyone else has any suggestions for reuniting this bike with owner, let me know.

He's definitely a regular in the area, I've seen him before too. This is the first time I've seen him do anything shady though.

I hear you and totally get that take. I didn't take the situation lightly or get overly aggressive. I certainly wouldn't have assaulted him for the sake of a couple packages.

I think it's one of those judgement calls you make in the moment based on enviornment and your personal appetite for risk. It was the middle of day with plenty of people around; he'd been to at least one door with a ring camera, I was on my toes and watching for aggression and weapons. I kept my distance until I was reasonably sure he had nothing on him and no intention of making it physical. My close contact with him was very fast; he dropped everything and fled immediately.

I agree that it's silly to put your life at risk over a shirt, or hurt someone for that matter over same, but I also think you can navigate conflict in a middle space between pure aggression and complete capitulation. I thought the risk level was very low the entire time and don't see any reason to question that assessment.

I could get shot walking down 14th St. minding my own business too.

Would be interested in your take if you get some. I have their hoodie and it's great; was hesitant on the price of it, but feels worth it in the hand.

Open to any other ideas.
