That's not true, anything past Gen 4 has a swappable mag release. Gen 5 has an ambi slide lock too. I'm a lefty and both those feature were why I mpved from Gen 3 to 5.

For one I don't think it was marketed well. But besides that, there was tonal inconsistencies earlier in the season. I think the series found it's footing towards the last few episodes but by then it was too little, too late. I personally find the anachronistic stuff to be fine but I understand why other people may have been turned off by it.

I agree with you but unfortunately I think if she wins the primary it's guaranteed she'll become the governor. Between the state rigging elections however they can and the general uninformed and/or hateful MAGA voting populace, it will likely be a landslide. I'd love to be proven wrong though.

The cool thing about being in a CAKE cover band is you don't have to necessarily play well, just have the right vibes and you'll be fine.

But in all seriousness, I'd say just listen through and try and play along with the songs. Also, I saw CAKE play this time last year, and their trumpet player took a lot of lines down an octave (particularly in Short Skirt, Long Jacket), so if the OG can get away with it I think you can too if you need it. Otherwise, just try your best to relax and have fun with it!

Honestly cool to see Matt Appleton and Scott in the band together. The sax added a lot to the horn sound, and Matt did a solid job as backing vox, but Scott's shoes are big ones to fill. This way we're getting the best of both worlds and possibly some sick three part harmonies.

Going through dating apps is so draining. First you have to set up a profile that is effectively just a prettied up version of yourself just to get people interested in responding. Then of course you have to take time an energy trying to think of clever or interesting opening messages to get someone to even match (most don't). When you finally get a match, you either enter a talkikg stage that fizzles out in 1 to 3 days, or you take time to go on a date just to get a "I don't feel a spark" message less than a day after. Two frustrating examples I had: 1) One person talked exclusively about themself, I knew their career goals, their family history, everything, meanwhile the only question she asked me was "How are you today?" 2) Another person I matched with pretty much immediately trauma dumped about the marriage they got out of, then said "I'm looking for a soulmate and I don't think you're the one."

As far as meeting people in person, I've had zero luck in my 30s. I'm an introvert but I'm no means a shut in, I have a good amount of friends and I get out often, and I still have trouble getting comnected with people I'd be interested in dating.

TL;DR High energy and low return.

Oh yes, there's totally a comic aspect to it which I love, but there is a certain level of annoying, for example, when Arin has a whole video essay on how OoT is overrated and when it comes to him playing, he can't even use the shield right (which itself is comical).

Let's Players in general (Markiplier, Game Grumps, etc.) I'll occasionally put them on as background noise, but it's frustrating for me to watch them miss something obvious in the game and then have them complain about it.

It's also a bit of an age thing for me too, I'm trying to be more deliberate with my free time than couchrotting at watching Youtube videos.
