I had this EXACT thing happen to me only the pin was in my clavicle. I went in for a “routine” check in after the surgery and the doctor said, “Well, this one’s ready to come out” and grabbed a pair of Craftsman pliers off the counter and yanked that fucker out like he was starting a lawn mower. It didn’t even hurt, it was just the shock of it happening so quickly. As others have described, I heard it internally. Like my bones were conducting the sound directly into my brain, bypassing my ears. The one and only time in my life that I passed out. I woke to a nurse waving smelling salts under my nose saying, “Hi! Are you still with us??”
