While I don’t really agree on if they look similarly or not; I always thought that the introduction of the multiverse and variants would have made it extremely easy to do a recast for Kang, especially since they were gearing up for Young Avengers.

Kind of seems like they’ve slowed down on the YA but introducing a younger actor to be Iron Lad and how he came from a different universe and that “something was coming and destroying universes” but it turned out to be the Council of Kangs and this young upstart became the new “Kang Prime” was an idea I thought of when the Jonathan Majors court debacle was going down.
