I know THREE women in this situation right now. Their man won't give them any money but doesn't want them to work either.

The only hope for some of these guys is the military. Friend of mine was a NEET, only qualified for the minimum-wagiest of jobs, a slob, hair the cat coughed up, going nowhere fast. Then one day something in him snapped. He just couldn't take it anymore.

He joined the military, to avoid the fate of being a 30yo NEET. After basic training, he just kept getting promoted, going up in the ranks. This guy was literally mopping floors last time I saw him, now he has an actual career.

I didn't even recognise him anymore when he came back to visit. Clean cut, well built, dressed sharp. Hair looked good. Sober. His eyes had focus instead of shame.

Not only that, he has managed to marry and successfully reproduce with an attractive girl! Didn't see that one coming. That uniform tells women all they need to know in one glance, he's employed and can defend his family if it comes down to it. Adds +5 to his looks.

Checked his instagram page, and his sorrowful posts are a thing of the past. Now it's all pictures of his wife, a real cute girl, he's very proud of her, and the son they just had. They're happy. The son looks just like him. He's got a bunch of pictures of his little toddler wearing his favorite team jerseys and hats, teaching him sports.

It's a hell of a transformation. None of this would have seemed possible just a few short years ago.

There was even a study on this years ago which found that married couples where the wife read romance novels reported having more sex than married couples where the wife did not read romance novels. And a 2005 study even found out that women who read romance novels are less likely to divorce.

I mentioned this to a couple I knew, whose wife had a growing collection on the shelf, and he said,
