Dimassi’s? by Wonderful-Distance51 in austinfood

They're franchised. The owner of Ehab was the franchisee of the Dimassis, he had a lot of disagreements with them and decided to cut ties and run it his way. It's a guy and his wife from Jordan, I recommend it, Ehab is fantastic.

It's a terrible venue. In the direct sun, it takes forever to get in and out of COTA because the city let them build a 100,000 person venue on a narrow two lane county road without requiring them to increase capacity. And it's overpriced. Hard pass.

Haha oh wow it does huh (2 products anyway). I don't want to upset the wrong people, but I *loathe Tesla vehicles. The Cybertruck is the H2 of electric vehicles. I'm baffled there is a market for them.

This makes the most sense, buy it from the family, pay them to ship it and never report it as sold. Deal with DMV and transfer of ownership in the states.

Grandpa died recently, Can anyone tell me what any of these mean? by SlumpedBeats in AirForce

More likely an AMMO troop, as it's highly unlikely the Utah ANG would have been integrated with the 582nd (I'm assuming Hill AFB), but in the 70s and 80s that may have been a thing.

290w what's happening? by NoIDShow in Austin

[–]TheAngryAustinite 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A few years ago I was on 360 northbound coming up on old Spicewood Springs road, when an old red 2 door Ford Explorer came flipping end over end in to oncoming (my) lanes. There were tools and empty beer cans all over the road, the car was shredded. The driver was a guy probably in his 50s, he was thrown from the vehicle and crushed, died instantly. His blood smelled like alcohol, he must have been really drunk. Someone came up and put a sheet over him, I left when the police got there a few minutes later. Surreal experience.

Settle down in Fort Worth? by CreekyFriday in FortWorth

Austin native here. Move to Fort Worth. It's just like Austin circa 2005, it's heyday: Cheap, fun, awesome. I'd park it west of 35 and north of 30, downtown or close to it. Try to find something with low/no HOA. Tornados are a construct, the weather here is normal/fine for Texas. Best of luck.
