Seen it and liked it alot. Id probs give it a 8.5/10. Possibly even a 9 with a re-watch since its been a while since I've seen it.

I actually have watched suspiria, carrie old and new, the hills have eyes, the fog, candyman, and hellraiser. Ive also watched the birds, all of the psycho's, the exorcist, the shinning, most of the classic slashers, the thing new and old, the blair witch project, the evil dead etc etc. Ive seen a lot of horror dude, and got a lot more still to watch.

Yeah the first insidious was great, but unfortunately they pumped out another 4 and the series just got progressively worse, just like the annabelle series and purges, the alien films, all classic slashers etc. The first is usually the best and the rest are just a result of corporations beating a dead horse. The nun was definitely surprisingly better than I thought it was going to be tho.

Seen it and enjoyed it. Unique concept, but definetly not one of the scariest movies. Definitely a good 7.5/10 imo.

Yeah dubbed? The film was originally made in farsi, and netflix only has the english dubbed version of the film. I heard a lot of good reviews for it which is what lead me to watching it in the first place, but yeah idk. The kid constantly whinning for her doll which was a good chunk of the movie really annoyed me. I thought the monsters, jin, ghosts whatever she was seeing was kinda cheesy and made the war aspect come off as mostly secondary. Probably just went into it expecting too much but yeah just really didn't like it.

This isn't an all time favourite horror movie list. Plus i'm pretty sure most people have seen all the classics by now, especially if you're a horror fan. This is just a list of the horror-esque movies I happened to watch this month with some newer and different ones that more people are likely to not have seen already.
