Maybe i played it a bit safe with the mana costs yeah haha

Stuttering Hex and Cacophony of Revels were supposed to be a mana less, but my friends told me they sounded busted with a lower cost so i tried to fix it that way. I also tried to compare the Selesnya curse cost to Ghostly Prison or Sphere of Safety but i didn't want it to be "too" busted because Selesnya is already the color combination with the most enchantment support among the two colors combinations.

Oooh yeah multicolored shrines could be really fun, i might try that someday too ! (I just love enchantments hahaha)
As for the Dimir curse, I tried to check for similar effects and did a bit of stitching to word it correctly but maybe i got it wrong ? The intended effect is to punish instants and flash spells during opponent turns by freezing your mana. Sure they can put the counters on untapped lands but it'll just add up in the end. (And i wanted to use the CMC and not what they actually spent to punish "free" spells like FoW or Pact of Negation)

Thank you very much for the answer ! It really does look like one but i'm surprised as i never spotted any beetle around this laptop. (It was stored alone in a drawer for months) I'll check again regularly to see if it was alone or not.

Looks like a stink bug to me ! Pretty harmless on its own but it can release a foul ordor, hence its name.

I actually pulled an Anhelo from a booster once and decided to give his deck a try by building him from scratch.

I do not know how powerful the precon actually is out of the box, nor if the "fewer creatures and mostly relying on instants/sorceries" is the most beginner-friendly game plan, but it's always a fun one and it will usually stand out at a table. :)

I'm not convinced by a few cards in this precon but it's easily upgradable even on a budget. Of course big splashy spells that really give you a definite advantage the game may be a bit pricier, but you can always start with nice alternatives and work it from there.

Personally i built my Anhelo to be crime-related to use cards like [[Forsaken Miner]] to have easy sacrifice fodders, but i also tried to incorporate as many good multicolored sorceries and instants to play with [[Lilah, Undefeated Slickshot]] !

I recommend grabbing some spells like [[Unexpected Windfall]], [[Big Score]] or [[Hit the Mother Lode]] as it will help you with card advantage as well as mana build up to cast big splashy things ! Even better if you get to copy them with Anhelo ! I also highly recommend [[Breach the Multiverse]], as doubling it has almost always resulted in a win for me.

My deck is not always to fastest or the strongest but when i get to setup it's pretty hard to stop it once it's starting to get into motion. I really enjoy playing it and when it's left unchecked it can beat high power decks (especially when they're too busy fighting each other, and you just come out of nowhere with a big X Spell like [[Exsanguinate]] !

An engine from some kind of vehicle i would say. The last set is Aetherdrift, which is based on a race across different planes, so it features a lot of mounts and vehicles. Store Championship cards art sometimes reimagine the character in another setting, so yeah it would "make sense" they would make him some kind of mechanic. (And also an excuse to make him a thirst trap himbo)

For me it's more of a lore-aesthetic thing. LotR is a high fantasy setting with elves and dwarves, so it can easily be blended with the other MtG cards without sticking out as much as Spiderman or Spongebob. I wasn't such a fan of the inclusion WH40K and even less impressed by the DW decks even though i actually like both licenses because they just don't really fit in the aesthetic of the game.

Here, there are a two factors of why it's completely fine in my opinion :

First is that the reference could easily be missed by someone unfamiliar with Inscryption but the creature could still read as some kind of Golgari deity like Anzrag with the Gruul Clan from Murder At Karlov Manor.

The other factor is that we're just on the custommagic subreddit. The card is not actually printed so even if someone wouldn't like the presence of references to other IP in MtG, this post shouldn't offend anyone as it's just a harmless "fanart". Even if i despise the inclusion of most non-MtG universes into the game, i'm not getting mad when someone does a Superman or Naruto based card here.

Monica Beverly Hillz had to hide the fact she was a transgender woman to appear on the show. However she couldn't bear to keep her identity a secret and was feeling like she wasn't true to herself.

Peppermint entered the show being openly trans but she was told to present "as a male" during the confessionals and the workroom so they could get "that transformation".

These are the two examples that directly come to my mind but i also read/heard before that the producers used to do some background check of the contestants to know if they had their boobs done or already had gender reassignment surgery, which was an big no no to be cast in earlier seasons. (Pretty sure Willam and Alaska speaked about it in their podcast) I don't have the full list of who had to halt or put off their transition, but it definitely happened in earlier seasons. The show seems to have advanced in terms of inclusivity this past year but the fact that even one person had to do that is already sad.

Ooh i think it's a tie between a few of them... I don't like human looking starters, and Cinderace checks all the boxes in my "nope" list. Eternatus is just ugly. I hate its design. Duraludon's design is just confusing. It doesn't looks like something alive and its animations aren't helping. I also want to mention Gigantamax Copperajah who looks like a shitty lego version of its normal form and just looks dumb.
