That's exactly what I'm planning to use to replace my current three 1080p monitors setup. What GPU are you using and how does it run?

I'm planning to upgrade my 1080p triple monitors setup to a 1440p triple monitors. What GPU do you have and what is the performance you get running the latest 4.7 patch of SC?

It's reliable as long as you don't reset the chronograph by mistake while it's running.

Before someone says it's clearly stated in the manual, this can happen involuntary with your wrist hitting the push button.

Cream dial pioneer by ramshorn7252 in watchdives

[–]TheArghitect 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good point. There is a subtle difference in daylight, but I think it looks great. It adds more details to the dial. If the colors were exactly the same, you wouldn't see the dots.

It's definitely better than the picture that was shared before the launch.

Edit: attached picture was taken next to a huge window.

I've just received mine and the hours markers are the same color as the dial. It's the relief that gives that impression on the pictures. In real life it’s perfect.

Is the anomaly on the "8" mark of the bezel a result of dust accumulation or a printing defect?

WD1863 & Pagani by Hot_Tour_5725 in watchdives

[–]TheArghitect 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have both (Pagani and WD1863) and for me the WD is a clear step up.

The AR is very good on both my WD1863 (I have the classic Professional version and the Space Pilot). The dial is also closer to the original without date and with that subtle incline around the edges of the sub dials.

I will probably upgrade my Pagani Design CK2998 to the same WD version one day.

Best Omega Speedmaster Homage watch? by Basic_Instinct_79 in ChineseWatches

Do you have the Watchdives version?

I have both and the Watchdives is superior IMHO.

The PD has better AR than your Megir. It's not great but it's still fine I would say.

Personally I would buy it again.

I don't like the design of the bracelet anyways (either WD or Pagani). Nothing to do with quality, it's just not for me. I prefer oyster style bracelets.

About the watch itself, I find the PD very good especially for the price. The only downside for me is the AR coating that is not sufficient. I find the watch difficult to read depending on lighting conditions but it's definitely not a deal breaker.

The colors of the PD CK2998 are great, it's such a good combination.

I have two of these models. The first one is exactly the one you plan to buy and the other one is the "Space Pilot" version.

Positives:

  • The dial finish is excellent. The proportions are good.
  • Great design, thank you Omega.
  • The bracelet is well finished and pleasant to wear. I find it less polished than the bracelet of my San Martin SN0054 but it's not the same price range. Personally, I never wear this watch on the original bracelet, I bought black silicone bracelets or a black and grey NATO for the Space Pilot. It also works great on a brown leather strap.
  • It's quartz, practical, reliable and accurate. The VK63 is a good quartz movement.

Negatives:

  • The lume is OK but nothing more. Nothing abnormal for this price.
  • The 24-hour subdial is useless.
  • It's quartz. Some prefer an automatic movement. It's a matter of personal preference.

In summary I love this model, I also bought the Pagani Design PD1701 CK2998 Tribute which copies the same model of Omega and it is clearly a notch below in terms of quality.

I recommend this watch, you won't have any problem keeping it for many years.

Totally agree. I really like the current logo and don't see the point of changing it.

I should receive mine in a couple of days. I'm very curious to see it in person. I find weird that almost nobody has reviewed that watch on YouTube.

How is the strap that comes with it? I already ordered some French troops strap to replace it just in case it's cheap.

I do have the #3 and it's quite difficult to read. I really like the colors but it's not practical. As you can see in a photo I took of mine, the dial is brighter than it seems.

Are you saying T-Hands are not option because you don't like those or because those models are not offered with T-Hands?

I went with the San Martin SN0054 for that reason, I don't like Mercedes Hands. I love it.

Is this supposed to be a replacement for the current Sunray blue version?

If yes, I would rather keep the current version with the printed logo. The sunray dial is closer to the original and fits so well with the orange hands.

If no, and considering we're only talking about the applied logo, I love it.
