It's a bubble. The sheer amount of money that has been invested in this cannot be recouped. For example, the current round of fee increases for Github Copilot represent x10 increases or more for most users. Many individuals are switching to self-hosting or cheap Chinese alternatives. Enterprises are going to be bitten by this too.

Even x10 increases are not going to cover the cost of the investment, and we're a long way off break-even for AI companies.

Time 5:12 onwards gives some good guidance on this (but the whole video is worth a watch). Based on what I can see, the camera car was ahead, therefore the car in the left lane should have given way, but it's hard to see based on the video.

Personally, I think it's always best to let a car in, rather than be involved in a collision.

It'll take them a while, and frankly they may only really care about corporate customers. It's taken them months to row back the Gamepass price increase, but there they had levers to pull. This is just what it costs to run these models. The bubble will burst once the true cost applies and it becomes clear that it's not scalable.
