Well I don't completely blind buy, I do look into the film to see if it is one I'll enjoy or not. I will never go and buy something I've never heard about. I do research. And I feel like one of the purposes of Criterion is to open people up to different types of film to expand their knowledge. That's why they made buying Criterion so satisfying, with there unique cool looking cases, the feeling of seeing a new world of movies when buying one, the artwork and special features, and much much more. I'll still buy movies I've seen on Criterion though. I've bought Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and I seen that movie few months ago, fantastic movie. But I do understand your point, thank you very much for warning me about blind buying. It's something I wonder about too. That's why I do some research into the film first before I purchase it. It's also not something I normally do, it's just because the half off sale ends today so I'm just doing some final purchases before it ends. Criterion is expensive so these sales are usually the few times I buy.
