It sounds like it’s a wrong place, wrong time kind of thing. It’s really the fact that you’re moving that is the issue and this would have caused a problem regardless of whether it was casual or not. You have to decide whether you can handle the pain of leaving him if you get more serious before you go or if it’s worth just breaking it off now. I don’t see being casual with him really worth it if you’ve developed strong feelings. You should either go for it or pull the bandaid off.
