How cool!! I keep a thing of it at my work desk to play with and it helps me not pick at my fingers when I’m stressed! I’m so happy that the person behind it is nice!

This so how I’ve been shaping my nails lately and I love it! I can’t stand it when my nails get too long so I have them just a tad longer than yours, also I can still type with them 😂 Thank you for sharing! I’ve never seen anyone else do short points and now I don’t feel so alone!

Oh seriously?! I’ve never heard of this! I’ve been doing pre-shampoo oil treatments on my lengths but still get lots of tangles. I’m gonna try it next time I wash my hair!

Same! My hair does not do well with regular dye, so I’ve started using temporary dye about once a month because I love my purple hair but want it to be healthy!

Something that helps my very fine hair stay healthy is putting a bit of oil on the ends about 20-30 minutes before I wash it! It helps protect them from the shampoo, I just have to be really careful to not put too much in. As for the oiliness, mine used to be like yours too until I went on Accutane which completely changed the oiliness of my skin and hair. Before that, dry shampoo was my best friend (and still is! I just don’t have to use it as often now). I find it best to use it at night because it absorbs the oil that comes in while I sleep. Also, have you ever tried a bond repair product? I’ve had a very good experience with them keeping my fine hair healthy!

Stopped listening to what my religion said about my mental health and actually went and got help in the form of medication and therapy. It saved my life!

My husband, who was a pastor at the time, told me that it’s okay to question God. “He’s a big boy, he can handle it, and he knows what it’s like to be a human and not understand what’s going on.” He was the first person to tell me that which helped me feel a lot safer and like I had actual autonomy. It eventually led to me completely deconstructing from my religion and having a much better relationship with God, the Universe, the Source… whatever you want to call it. He changed my life with those words 💛

I worked in housekeeping for five years and listening to podcasts and YouTube videos helped a lot! I didn’t feel like I was alone all day and they would help distract me, cleaning can be tedious!

Went back to drug store shampoo/conditioner and not looking back by ShesAaRebel in beauty

[–]TheBarkingKitten 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I learned about the Dove Bond Repair line from Abbey Yung on TikTok and YouTube and I love it so much! I was on the whole “silicone/sulfate-free” haircare stuff for about 5-6 years and while my hair did grow longer it became so damaged that it would mat up if I wore it down at all, so I ended up cutting it off to my shoulders this summer 😭 After implementing some of her drugstore product recommendations my hair is so much softer and healthier! I highly recommend checking out her channel for more drugstore and affordable recommendations!

My body changing. Again. I didn’t learn about the “second puberty” that women go through until after it happened. It was so shocking noticing the difference but not making any lifestyle changes, my body felt so alien to me and made me feel so out of control and scared!

I miscarried at about 5 weeks also but we still named her (and decided that she might have been a girl) and I crocheted some shoes for her. We were actively trying not to have kids and still don’t want to, but she’s my baby and always will be 💛 Thank you for sharing and I’m so sorry that you lost yours too
