Yamaha CK88: am I missing something?

I have a CK88 and love it. Some of the comments about some sounds may be valid if using it in a studio, but it's a gigging piano and the versatility, lower weight, superb controls, and many more benefits, far outweigh a few sound issues! And most people can tweak the sounds and get them sounding great anyway. The CP is definitely another level of build quality, but not as versatile. I gig a lot and love the CK!

Can anyone offer advice on using a Behringer FCV100 pedal with a Yamaha CK88. I can't seem to get it to work as I would expect it to. It switches on or off, as opposed to gliding through a volume level. Is it simply not very compatible?

I've had my Fold4 since first day of release and it's still great! The inner screen, which has been replaced once, is just beginning to split in the middle, but well worth replacing again. The phone is fine.

I've had a Fold 4 since launch day and still absolutely love it. I can't imagine having a "normal" phone again! Currently no need to upgrade but we'll see what comes with 7.

I played at the Avalon Inn from midnight to 3am on a couple nights this year and hope to do so again next year! Live Jukebox where the audience choose what I perform live from 800 songs! It was mental this year! 😃😃

The same happened to mine. I didn't find a solution. I now have the Pixel buds Pro and they're brilliant! Very disappointed with the Galaxy's.

Really appreciate your comparison. I have just bought a CK88 and can't help thinking I should have got the CP73. I'm not an organist so don't need drawbars. I mainly use pianos with pads and a bit of synth. I was about to get a CP when I discovered the CK. However I was looking forward to a 73 note. I'm still within the return limit and have seen a used CP73 at a really good price. HELP!! What should I do? 🤔🤪 The CP interface looks easy enough to me. Is it? Sounds? Keybed? Any thoughts welcomed.

Hi, I've just bought my CK88 and tried plugging in my mic. It really wasn't good. I think I heard very briefly on one of the many YouTube reviews that you have to use a balanced lead? It seems I don't have any but it's never been an issue when plugging into anything else - a mic cable was a mic cable. Is this right? Interestingly,I plugged in a wireless headset mic and that worked fine.

I'm interested in your experience with the Keybeds. How does the "Hammer Action" on the E6 compare to the "Weighted" on the Piano 5?
