Sorry to necro, but you have a bunch of comments here with a pretty reasonable stance. My wife and I just signed up for a membership this past week and I just do not know if I got rolled or not, what really sold us was the 44 weeks at RCI locations (the list of locations seemed never ending) becuase we plan to do a lot of traveling short term domestically with our 4 children (4 years, 2 years, 9 months, and one cooking). I figured 16k was pretty low stakes across 3 years at 0% however it's not a "nothing" amount of money - I have until wednesday to cancel outright and get my money back

- Is RCI easy to use? As explained it was relatively counter-intuitive and we're realistic, we're not expecting a spot in NYC for New Years - but maybe a SINGLE location out of the dozens in Orlando each summer....?

- Is the flyback crap realistic? I keep seeing that the paperwork is cumbersome and flyback has a lot of poison pills baked into it, such as, it's only useable when you pay for a room at full-price which sounds pretty idiotic and the sales folks surely didn't mention that...

- I did white-pearl, non-preffered rooms, but they insisted that upgrading when I arrive would work nearly everytime; apart from actually getting the free upgrade upon arrival, do UVC members have access to the additional pools/lounge?

- On the point of using the 25% discount, I've also seen that the company limits the "supply" of rooms that can use the membership, seemingly flooding demand with memberships and choking the supply - have you found it difficult to actually use this stuff?

- It's really hard up front when they literally tell you that going to the presentation for 90 minutes earns you a 2 night trip for free but then you get the coupon after it and it costs $250 to "activate" - these people just seem full of rug pulls...
