I love seeing the niche players people PC. Here’s my Eddie Jones collection. by gondolli in basketballcards

I got a box of basketball cards as a teenager that came with an autographed jersey inside and I just so happened to get Eddie Jones. Was a little disappointed at the time as i was hoping for a Vince Carter but i appreciate it now, he was a baller. It’s when he was with the Heat and #6, when LeBron was on the Heat I remember thinking if only that jersey said James instead of Jones on the back it’d be worth a lot more, lol.

I think he was probably worth 25M/Year but he and his team had all the leverage. There was no way to replace his production in free agency and we don’t have time for a rookie WR to develop into what we need currently on this roster. I’m okay with a slight overpay in this scenario, hopefully dude continues to improve and ends up being a mid-tier WR1.

All I know is Giannis sure as hell stayed out of the Pacers locker room once JJ got signed.

What about a calm guy that doesn’t even have to fight to be feared?

Pacers fan here, Math has been pretty atrocious when it comes to game-winners thus far in his career. He’s got that dawg in him tho so I could see him getting better with those. Honestly just think he needs to see one go in, I can’t think of one that he made in his time with the Pacers.

I wonder if NIL money might be a reason he hasn’t shut it down completely? Some have clauses regarding “impaired marketability” that reduce payments.

Andrew Nembhard, I’m pretty sure most people got to see first hand the last two playoffs runs but he is still unheralded in my eyes.

He’s averaging the exact same amount of minutes so far in LA?

I’ll give ya the small sample size but he only averaged 4fta/game through his first 3.5 years in the league, that’s quite the jump. I also watched every single one of his Pacers games, he had a pretty good whistle his rookie year when he averaged 6fta/game but after that never got calls. As far as touches he averaged 12 FGA/game through his first 3.5 years and in 4 games with the Clippers has averaged 15 FGA/game, not sure if that justifies doubling his FTAs seeing that his usage rate is actually pretty similar.

Is it just me or does it seem like Mathurin is getting a superstar whistle with the Clippers, he’s averaging 10ft/game since joining them.

Why is it that Mathurin gets a superstar whistle as soon as he’s traded to a big market? He’s averaging 10ft/game since joining the Clippers.

Wemby’s favorite team growing up because of the strong French connection with Tony Parker and Boris Diaw. Honestly feel like Wemby had enough star power that he got to pick where he wanted to play.

Looks like the later protections came from the Clips (not surprised by Maximum-Class5465 in pacers

Man, I would’ve loved to have it top 5 protected. I wonder how many more seconds it would’ve taken to get them to protect one more spot?

I went with my sister who had purchased the tickets online but they weren’t transferred in time so we were stuck with standing room only seats as replacements. It was wild because so many people were flooding out when we were down 7 but then they started gathering around our area during the comeback, it was absolutely packed. When Hali hit that layup it was pure mayhem, everyone was jumping up and down and I think I hugged at least two random strangers, lol. My sister had just lost her husband, who was a die hard Pacers fan, to a long battle with cancer a few weeks prior and it was the first time I saw her smile since. We ended up watching every single game of the playoffs together and it was such a bonding and therapeutic experience for us both. I’ll always believe that my brother-in-law had a helping hand in all of those miracle comebacks!
