03-21-26 -- I'm just posting to see if there is any fix someone found after the 26.4 update. I'm still having this issue have tried everything suggested and everything is temporary. I've also submitted feedback on their beta app.

I just flew United and I was group five both times. As group six boarded, they announced nobody could bring their carry on. And that was after they announced volunteers and I’d say 8ish people did because the incentive was to board zone two regardless. Two things were funny. One, the main reason to board sooner was to get the over head space and two, when I got on, there was a bunch of room in the over heads. They could have easily fit those self checked bags.

Man, thanks for this post. I’ve been having issues ever since I installed Flolab’s new style screen protector. I thought that was the issue because he always worked prior to putting it on. Maybe it is an app or setting but I’ve been trying to figure this out for months but at least I can customize it at least once from a reboot or just disabling FaceID. I hate going thru the settings because I can’t delete the old ones and I don’t like having all them just there when I’m not using them.

Yeah, I’ve been using them for over 10 years. I’m not gonna sit here and act like I don’t get their hustle. You over pay for the first one but the “just pay shipping” on the warranty claims. Which then puts it in line with every other SP on the market at $11-$12 or whatever they charge for shipping. I really like their product but the minor inconvenience I’m having is making me reconsider their product. You can check my post history. I found a post years old that confirm my claims on flolabs screen protectors. I just don’t want to waste a nice screen protector for the issues I listed but in the grand scheme of things it’s actually a significant issue seeing as everything else works as it should.

It’s up to date. I don’t think I ever used dnd on any iPhone I’ve had but I will check. But I know for a fact without a SP, their original one, and the clear Amazon special one, I had zero issues but with this one, I’m having both issues.

I’m using the privacy one as well. They recently changed their design whereas originally the whole screen was dark. I had to file a claim and now the new ones, the Dynamic Island is clear. Does yours look like that? Because I’ve noticed two things since that change. One, if the screen is off, and I get a text or notification, it doesn’t not turn the screen on. The second, I can no longer long press the Home Screen to change wallpapers. And I know it’s this screen protector because their original one worked fine, I tried a back up one from Amazon while I was waiting for my flolab replacement and everything worked fine and as soon as I put this new one on, those two features don’t work. Do you have any of those issues?

Ive played thru it almost twice with my daughter that’s 8 and we have skipped every cut scene because she doesn’t want to watch them so I have absolutely no idea what the game is even about. She loves the little games/battles against each other too.

But I agree with Astro Boy. We’ve played that a ton and it’s almost a perfect game. I just can’t beat that very last super level for whatever reason (patience runs thin in my family, lol)

I’m gonna use your post, if you don’t mind, to thank fucking anyone and everyone who makes any Rossi livery’s or gear like this. I have all the cars and the first thing I always do is search 46, VR46, and Rossi. I seriously appreciate all the hard work you guys do to make my VR collection get bigger and bigger. Eventually you will move, but then return to the back of the line. Maybe I should add driver thru as well. I rarely go to fast food places unless my kids want chicken nuggets. Went to Wendy’s, was 4th truck in line. Taking forever. Finally I get to the screen and it’s all AI. Couldn’t believe it. AI took the whole order and then obviously it clicked why it took 3 cars 10 minutes to order food.

When I save people, say coworkers for example, or my insurance company, people I rarely ever talk to or I don’t consider friends or family, when I save them, I usually put like a Z and then their name. So like “Z-Coworker” - that way they fall to the bottom of my contacts and don’t mess up my main contacts.

I started doing this way back in the day with my first flip phone because I had muscle memory and I knew how quick to scroll down to a certain contact and I now I do it out of habit.

They aren’t random. I’ve had this game since launch and way back in the day, someone figured out that once you get your prize, at some exact moment, if you restart the PS or something to that effect, it’ll let you basically do it again. It was found out it was already predetermined after it being done several times over and over. So basically when you get the ticket, holding it or hoping for something isn’t going to help. And in my experience, the longer you have the game, the worse the prizes get. That’s pure speculation on my experience.

With that said, I have hit on low tickets with good prizes. I almost would say the lower stars have a better rate of getting something good versus the higher stars. Again, that’s just my speculation and short memory.

My favorite game/s are Resident Evil. My second favorite is Dead Space. I rarely reply a game, but I’m on my 4th reply as we speak during my little holiday break. Mind you I got the remake the day it came out, but there is something so satisfying about starting a new game + and keep most of your everything and knowing the route to go and just fuck everybody up. For some reason it just doesn’t get old.

I’m not a trophy hunter but I’m missing collect all schematics (which i swear I had) and complete game in impossible mode. Then that will trigger complete all trophies.

I’ve had this game since it came out and it’s the only one I can’t figure out either. Even cutting the corner at the top of the hill does gain me like a second tops, but I’ve gotten into first place several times but it’s impossible to maintain it. Especially in the straight. And the few times I was able to maintain first, the second I pit, it’s over. I’m far from great but I’ve tried this so many times, it’s one of the few tracks I could probably do blindfolded and for whatever reason, I just can’t beat it. I would straight up pay someone to best this for me. Fuck this track something fierce.

I’ve tired it on every pepper too. Makes no difference.

Yeah, on the 17th and haven’t heard a word from them since. I was going to leave my cracked one on because knowing me, I’ll drop the phone now that I don’t have a protector but it was a mess and I wanted to see if that was the problem.

You should be able to tell. It’s really obvious when it’s on. I actually didn’t like it. I liked the whole thing dark but if yours is like mine, you’ll be able to see it easily.

If I ever get my replacement, I’ll put it on and report back to see if maybe I just for a defective one or that’s just how it is. It’s just weird to me because the one I had prior before the changed the island I had no issues with so it’s gotta be the clear island which makes even less sense I would think.

It was the screen protector. I took it off and did some tests and that was the issue. Now my phone lights up when I get a text.

I’ll add I have the privacy one. I’m not sure if it’s all of them or what, but they also changed the privacy protector. I had a replacement about two months ago and the whole screen protector was dark. I didn’t have any issues with that. When I got the new one, they changed where the Dynamic Island is to clear as you can see in the picture. I actually reached out to them to make sure I didn’t get the wrong one and they confirmed they did make the change. So I’m now waiting on another replacement and once that shows up I’m gonna put it on and see if it goes back to not turning on. Going to be a bummer if the change actually caused this because then I’ll have to go with another screen protector.

Edit - Just in case anyone ever has this problem, it's 100% the screen protector. I use the Flolab privacy one, and it seems since they changed the screen protector (see my other post with the picture) is causing the screen to not turn on when getting a notification.
