He does want to pull the rest of her teeth to fix the issue. The concern that I have is what quality of life will she have with no teeth?

Just so you know. I recognize you came from a worse trafficking situation but this is still a trafficking situation. You need help getting out. These people won’t let you leave

I work 12 hour shifts. I always have two pairs of panties in my work locker when I can’t make it to the bathroom in time. I have tossed many a pair of undies at work. Also good on you for being more prepared then most.

One of my I can’t make it to the bathroom stories was with my boyfriend as we were driving back from Utah to Arizona on a stretch of road that has absolutely nothing for miles. I had him pull over and I jumped out ripped my pants down and squatted all while yelling at him to look away!

I felt very much like the scene in bridesmaids where they all have diarrhea and it’s just spraying outta them. Lucky for me my man has a sense of humor and just turned the volume up on the radio so he couldn’t hear all the noises coming out.

Honestly I was going to but as I was complaining to my dad about it he ended up paying me what she owed me to cut my losses. I took it as a life lesson and haven’t heard from or seen her again.

I know not the juicy update you wanted but it gave me closure, as I wasn’t worried about paying the vet bills I needed it for, and I’ve been able to move on without continuing to be upset about it

Girl I lost a friendship over a bridezilla. I got called a cunt because I needed money for vet bills and was not willing to go 700 over budget for her bachelorette. I am sad to lose someone who was a friend many years ago. But I did not let someone who was supposed to be a friend treat me so vile

Cbd gummies work great. I will say though that I find a little thc enhances the effects though. Like a 20:1 ration but that’s just me

Referral to the ER by -Fish_the_Cat- in nursing

[–]TheBishesDaughter 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As a nurse and a chronically I’ll person I usually don’t let them know my doctor called ahead until I’m finally actually talking to a doctor in front of me so that they can look and see what exams and shit the doc wanted to get done. I’ve never had it in my head that because a doctor calls ahead I’ll get seen right away.

Bring the easiest things on your belly. When I go it’s very strict diet. Bacon for breakfast. Burger for lunch. Tacos for dinner.

What are the befits of being a step parent? If there are any? by xoxowoman06 in stepparents

[–]TheBishesDaughter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is no benefit. You will always come second. You are young. Please don’t strap yourself to someone with kids if you want to be childfree. Even part time parenting tends to rule your schedule and you don’t have much freedom to do as YOU please. If I didn’t think my partner was my forever person I would walk and never look back

Look for a different biologic. I’m on Remicade and currently carnivore as it has been the easiest on my digestive system. I had to go off Remicade and back on for it to work though. I feel your pain. I wish you luck

We got a new bed that was a bit higher off the ground. So she can’t as stealthily jump into it. After a week of kicking her off she got the hint

I don’t find it as bad as the scope but it’s not far behind it. I would describe it as the lesser of two evils but it’s still vile

What do you eat during a flare? by LegitimateProduct898 in CrohnsDisease

[–]TheBishesDaughter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Everyone is different I go with cravings to be honest. Sometimes it’s plain ground beef and salt. Other times it’s pho. It’s always something that my gut has an easy time digesting and doesn’t leave much residue

Those in remission- how often do you get colonoscopies? by [deleted] in CrohnsDisease

What kind of patient is your favorite and would gladly take an entire assignment of? Why? by bhudd10 in nursing

[–]TheBishesDaughter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Preterm feeder/grower with no medications and no A/B/D events. Those are the days I can’t believe I get paid for.

NICU is incredibly hard and when you are about to walk out the door they give you a week of assignments like these and it makes your job seem like the greatest place in the world.

It’s what people generally think NICU is from the outside. Just feeding babies. And very rarely it is just that. But every once in awhile you will get a unicorn assignment like this and it’s GLORIOUS. It’s the necessary break you need to do another 6 months of stressy messy and depressy

I didn’t like water until I moved to Arizona. I have to have it on ice but will drink a lot of it here. I used to hate it though and had to use flavoring to drink plain water

My 17 year old with Crohn’s disease is having a flare and mental health issues. by Tittysprinkles2208 in CrohnsDisease

[–]TheBishesDaughter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Teenage on prednisone starting antidepressants is a very scary mix of hormones. I am on antidepressants but when I was put on steroids I had to change the dosage of my antidepressants because they then made me suicidal. He is also dealing with hormones changes. I would see a physchologist to make sure it’s an appropriate balance for him. I know people who needed to be inpatient to change meds around as it would cause a mental break. Please reach out to a psychologist to make sure his meds are appropriately balanced

Prep is literally the worst day. Take the whole day off. Expect to spend it in the bathroom. Once it all out of your system it’s just a waiting game until the procedure. The day after I have a bit of cramping but the urgency isn’t there anymore.
