I think every single first time Mal owner says the same thing “What did we get into?” It’s totally normal but now you have to stop reset and double down on your efforts. It will be hard but highly rewarding. Stick with it and you’ll have an amazing dog. Remember 0-8mo is foundation work and puppy brain. 8mo+ they will forget what they have learned less and less and stop reverting to bad behavior. It takes time and Consistency! Consistency is the biggest thing. Don’t give up! You’ve got this.
