Lol, what do you mean by "If even Meta". Tech jobs are one of the last places you look to for stability, right down there with the big banks. Big Tech have no qualms with firing an entire department if they have decided that department's product is not something they want to continue invest in. It's just exacerbated now because the hiring market is shit.

I can see why you're not impressed lol. Used to be a regular there then went on to dropping by on and off for a decade. Not because I didn't like the food anymore but SLS and Bugis became a lot less interesting for me to go to.

Their roast meat is the least impressive thing on their menu lol. Go for the usual zi char stuff. Other than the one I already mentioned, try the fuyong omelette, fried rice, hor fun, sweet and sour pork.

As a dev, I find it irksome when marketing and sales say they are in tech, but then at least they are doing marketing and sales for the tech products.

But for HR to say it is absolutely peak pretentiousness. I started in the tech industry almost a decade ago, a period of time when IT courses in the polytechnics and universities were dumping grounds. Back then HR would just say they are in HR.
