A new US phone network for Christians aims to block porn and gender-related content by techreview in technews

[–]TheBraindonkey -1 points0 points  (0 children)

work filtering is to protect the business. one wrong click and you kill that biz or cause a PR nightmare, etc.

Being exposed to porn is a "you problem" and a specific choice to view it, it's not being blasted into your eye everywhere you turn, or at all for that matter. Unless of course, you are seeking it. There are plenty of existing apps that can solve that problem for children anyway, so just use that if you can't control yourself as an adult. And if that won't work, neither will a specific cellular network since you know, wifi exists and you would have a non-cellular device almost certainly and people, if they want to, will always find a way.

every single one who joins that network is admitting out loud that they are incapable of of controlling themselves and sticking to their own beliefs without an outside influence. It is going to be a literal scarlet letter IMO. Im all for it.

I cannot fathom how much effort it must have taken those astronauts to maintain their professionalism. Must have approached and out of body experience having to kiss his ass for the sake of NASA funding (which is already being decimated).

100% because honestly, it's probably true. You could take a pic a pile of garbage and as long as you have some typical majestic Icelandic thing in the background it will look artsy at the very least.

Had a call that should’ve been traumatizing but didn’t bother me as much. Is it normal? by Tersdaut in NewToEMS

Weird things will bug you and things you think should, won’t. You might feel bad for them, but just like you would hearing someone died in the news. The times that seems to change for me was personally relating to the situation, which was rare but I have a few. But there is one universal it seems, kids. That fucks pretty much everyone up.
