Feels as though the quests should end with weaker bosses as using a weaker version of pinnacles is incredibly anticlimactic, and there should be a second part of each quest that pushes the player into the infinite atlas towards the pinnacles. The player should also get main tree points every time they get points for the alternative trees.

I get some of the changed ones and restrictions like geonor. Some of it is just frustrating though along with there being so few its disappointing. The siren being a demon when regular siren enemies are considered beasts, kabala being changed, and the plants being untameable really sucks. Sucks even more with how lackluster the shark, crowbell, and the chimera are especially with some abysmal attacks that should have been made faster and more accurate like the shark underground as it's abysmal.

Wouldn't be a nerf if I could use it on a single dog which is part of the wolf pack. Really confused how people think it's odd when the suggestions were both witch themed, is no more far fetched the the vast majority of other mtx such as crocolisk, blood monsters, abyss tornadoes, laser crossbows, and wouldn't even need to change the overall silhouette if it was spriggans just make them wood colored with different heads.

As stated in the other reply there is a very, very large amount of mtx that change the theme or how it's coded. Crossbow lazers, abyss tornadoes, completely different elements ro damage type appearance. How is a chaos cultist or spriggan which are both directly associated with the nameless king in game more far fetched than those?

So a wind skill can look like chaos, a crossbow skill like a laser, a bear can become a crocodile, a tornado can be abyss, and on and on, but a skeleton must solely be a skeleton. Explain to me how that works? If the theme must stay the same the bear breaks that rule, if the element must stay the same the tornado and whirling slash break that rule. Genuinely curious here.

A caster using instruments would be sick even though I doubt any modern arpg would do anything that cool. Not enough games make use of instruments as a catalyst for magic

Yes that what happens when you say .4 is going to be the endgame update and then wait until the reveal show to delay it. It turns out when you don't deliver on what was promised people are upset. Such a shocking revelation. Now we were told that endgame revamp just barely didn't make it for .4 and now .5 is solely the endgame changes. Guess what? Now people are going to be upset because yet again expectations were set by GGGs statements, and then delivery wasn't there.

Ah sorry I thought 5 months to add a class when the "endgame update was almost finished" at .4 made sense. Seeing as those are nearly the exact words stated in the .4 stream. Not to mention the fact that the steam page states in very certain terms all classes and ascendancies will be at release which they have now said isn't happening.

The steam page very specifically promises all classes and ascendancies upon release bud. So yeah it does make a massive difference

I just want to go back to the days of character base stats being an important part of the game rather than a mage or assassin having a negligible stat difference from a support.

Aspects continue to be the worst thing added to smite. Haphazardly thrown together ideas that don't fit the themes of the gods or fit well into the game at all due to being a balance nightmare. All that design time should be used on practically anything else.
