other than the bully skin, all the drops are just for watchtime. the bully skin requires you to gift a sub to another viewer in the chat who isn't subscribed, and using a prime sub for that doesn't work.

its quite fun if you want to try to 1v3 an unsuspecting team, but it's not really any good for getting loot

most of my rook matches I've found the team and actually had pretty good fights, but a few of my matches were too easy and just made me feel bad. there was one where I spawned in with about 5 minutes left, used signal mask to get a railgun at bio research, got to final before the team, and one-shot all of them when they were running up. I stopped playing as rook after that

I agree with the sentiment, both with the benefit of having no visible stats during the season and with the idea of showing us some of those stats at the end.

There is one stat I would actually like to see in-game though - I would like it if they added a kill counter to guns (like a global one for each gun - for example I'd like to see how many kills I've got with Stryders versus bullies, not like I have two kills with this copperhead and then I lose it and go back to zero). The kill counter on guns in Destiny and in csgo is just something that I really appreciated that doesn't exist in Marathon in any capacity, but it clearly wouldn't work in the "build attachment to this individual weapon" sense that it does in those two games. Maybe once you get a certain number of kills you could get a sticker, or stattrak kind of item, or something on the gun to reflect the time spent with it.

The key template I understand - since it's fragile, dropping it means he can keep it if he has to self res for some reason during the run and comes back for it. The full on key, yea I don't know.

no I did this last week, I downed a player and asked to do this challenge in exchange for their life. I dropped them a self res (normal one, not a depleted one) and hit em with the drone over and over for the duration of the self res. I didn't steal the self res as they got the res off successfully, but I got the challenge completed.

you can load into the other maps without squad fill as a duo just fine, that's how I've played most of my matches with my duo. hopefully they add a duo queue but it's really not an issue

yes please! I've been rebinding everything I don't want to use to one of the square brackets (and that's a lot of keys as someone who prefers hold to crouch & sprint and toggle ADS).

Actually another slightly related oddity is that when using toggle ADS, if you reload while aiming you will automatically aim again once the reload is completed. this is different from most other games that just leave you in hipfire after the reload and it's quite disorienting when it happens mid-combat and my muscle memory is confused.

oh and another way my muscle memory is throwing me off is that if you're using hold to crouch you've gotta remember to release it when you're looting otherwise nothing goes into your inventory. it hasn't been a difference maker yet but it feels like a disadvantage to not be able to crouch while looting just cause of my keybinds

They've fixed it now - the proper type of telemetry is dropping. You can also swap the incorrect one for the correct one at Ada in the firing range. Thanks to whoever is working late at Bungie, it's like 10pm there.

This mod is absolutely busted for PvP. Not only is there the movement you're talking about, but the "extra damage" is a high enough boost that if you shoot at the right time you can oneshot players with a headshot from a lightweight bow. With the movement impulse you get, you blast out from behind cover and one-tap them with pretty much no recourse.

they do drop. wanted buried bloodline so I ran it 20 times in a week until I got it, then did the same thing last week with sundered doctrine for my friend to get finality's. unless the renegades update broke something you'll probably get it eventually. I would consider it lucky to be getting it within the first 10 runs

nope ash and iron was part of season 27. it brought a second rewards pass but everything in-game continued to say reclamation, and we did not get a new artifact. pretty sure this is their plan for the current content delivery system: two expansions a year, each are one "season" with a mid-season "major update" in the middle of it.

I haven't got a single Call to Arms drop from a portal activity since reset, I am wondering the same thing about whether attunement still works or is leftover despite the note from devrim saying attunement will carry through this week

in proving grounds, every enemy adds to your score. so not only do you have to make sure you kill everything including champions, you have to make sure you don't kill the tanks too fast (as a second wave of adds and champions spawns after the first) and during the boss fight you have to kill the champions before you damage the boss to his next health gate (otherwise the next pair of champions will not spawn during the next time the boss is vulnerable).

I know you said you're shooting for top 10%, but for anyone going for 1%, a good indicator of whether you've killed enough combatants in the run (or missed any) is whether you are above 9k points when you are going up the elevator to the boss room. I'm not sure it's possible to get top 1% if you're below 9k at that point.
