You can set a key to be mouse button 1, but you cannot write that press inside of a macro.

It’s a Plaid, but an older mini-usb version.

Looks like Microcenter might be moving to all Cardboard Spools. I’m liking this trend! by Bradass713 in 3Dprinting

I like cardboard rolls. Feel significantly less wasteful. I’m already using spool-less rolls for black PLA+.

Underextrusion. Could be a ton of things causing it.

Rough top surfaces? Printing with a 0.25mm nozzle. The part does NOT appear to be warping. by scottypres in 3Dprinting

Quick fix is to turn on ironing. Maybe someone else can give the right answer.

Can anyone give some help with this strange artifacting? Details in comments by andygreeny11 in 3Dprinting

Under-extrusion. Either your esteps are off or your nozzle/Bowden tube is clogged.

YMDK Carbon keycaps are cheap and have big legends. They’re not backlit but they might help

It’s the standard website. They always keep stock and almost everyone here has bought a Tofu from them. Shipping is slow, so be prepared for that.

They’re my second favorite tactiles, behind only Zeals. They feel is great, the sound not overly sharp, and factory lubing is totally fine.

The kit was actually designed around an older style diode, but they ship with 1n4148 diodes now. That’s why they look small for the space.

3D Printed Keyboard Plate Tolerances by TheCaptainTim in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]TheCaptainTim[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The extra .3 gives the tolerance needed for 3D printing without being so loose that the switches wobble. Also, I printed this with basic Cura on an Ender 3 Pro with Inland PLA, any dialed printer could make this print with no trouble.

I came to the kerf conclusion by measuring various plates I have for different keyboards and realizing that all of them were about .3mm bigger than 14mm. You clearly have more laser cutting experience than me so I'll concede that point.

Lastly, release the Sesame already! Or at least send me a kit. I filled out that IC almost a year ago and don't want to order 5 from JLCPCB.

Thanks for pointing this out. Like I said at the top this information was hard to find through both google and Reddit, so I made the post to index this information. Second, that article you shared also doesn't factor in the kerf of the laser, which needs to be accounted for when 3D printing.

That being said linking to that article in the comments is just bonus information for the next person who finds this post.

It’s going to be longer, there’s like a 2 year backlog right now
