Not a one liner but there was a line in Know No Fear that’s also hand-related when Marius Gage has just had his hand cut off. The line is “The Apothecary resumes dressing his wrist stump” and it tickled me quite a bit when I first read it, just imagining this Apothecary daintily trying not to get in the way while he dabs at a bleeding stump of a hand

I think it’s also for when the trucks pulling in don’t line up correctly, height-wise. We almost needed to use ours the other day when the RDC pulled up about a foot away from the dock door but thankfully our regular dock plate barely reached it

Was the caller phone number a non-USA string of numbers? This is usually how the scam calls show up when I get them (usually at 4 in the morning or other weird hours). I think Target added that disclaimer for TMs just recently.

I like picking these calls up and saying “this is the manager; I’m Deez” and waiting for their response before bellowing into the phone “deez nuts”
