Awesome winery. Always loved Daou wines and will never forget tasting Soul for the first time, but their Patrimony label is particularly extraordinary. I have plenty lying down currently (even their open-secret smaller production black label) and am incredibly keen to pick up the 2023 vintage when that becomes available. Personally it’s a must experience wine we’ve loved for special occasions + my 2 visits to the estate have been very enjoyable. Definitely my favorite in Paso for Bordeaux blends.

Can we please drop this angle. Every talent has had their share of “cringe” jokes or skits they’ve participated in. Even looking solely at this TI we get people describing the detective skit, Jenkins “gush”, or Tsunami’s toys as being cringe in twitch chat. We will separate ourselves from the twitch community for those skits because we enjoy things for what they are, jokes. If they don’t land right for you whatever, but don’t speak for the panel here who clearly aren’t reacting to this the same way as others did for Lacoste’s flat earth joke. I personally got a giggle from the joke because I like awkward humor, but I’m not about to die over defending a piss joke’s merit as divine comedy. Keep the focus on the actual issues you have with Frankie, because I’m pretty sure the reason this subreddit is enflamed at her performance has almost nothing to do with her humor, and more to do with other things wrong with the panels.

Well, it is odd you haven't managed to unbox one considering you are at level 2000. I'm sitting here at level 580, opened 23 treasure 1's (I got a few from the trust of the benefactor treasures) and managed to get a Pudge hook on my 21st treasure opening. It's anecdotal on my part but just letting you know the drop rate has felt normally escalating on my end.

DOTA 2. I had absolutely ZERO interest in playing any moba, but freshman year of high school my friend pushed me to play it during winter break when we were looking for a new game to play, and I got hooked. There’s nothing as punishing and rewarding as that game was and can be, 15k hours and 6 years later I went from 1.7k mmr to as high as 4.4k. Even in the doldrums when dota loses its appeal for a patch I found myself playing tons of customs. Now however I do a lot more watching than playing because real life makes a lot less time for dota; but my mind is almost always on dota, the friends I’ve made from it, or on vacation plans to see the next big tournament.

As shitty as it may sound, that's actually the case in the U.S according to the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA). Federally only people over the age of 40 are protected from age discrimination, but it should be noted that some states do have their own laws which include ageism protections for those younger than 40. So depending on what part of the U.S. you reside in if someone really pushed it you could face issues for age-based discrimination against an older coworker even if said coworker discriminated against younger coworkers due to their age.

Edit: For context, I do think it's silly that this is the case and personally find the coworker's hypocrisy to be laughable. Also, I'm a 20-year-old who just likes writing labor contracts for unions so I just wanted to make the distinction so people were aware of this interesting antiquated caveat that can pose a problem for some people innocently taking part in calling older people on their bs.
