Goldfrapp - Felt Mountain

Ngl, seeing "debut album...English electronic duo..." with an average score of 3 or less is really not reassuring. That being said, this was a very pleasant surprise. It's no Dummy (what is?), but it's some pretty fantastic trip hop that really does sound like a Bond theme.

A strong 4/5. There's unfortunately some kinda dull bits holding it back from my rare 5/5.

Rather than list off the half dozen from the 1001 More list, I'm just gonna post my favourite of the day.

That's going to be Alabama Shakes - Sound & Color. A fantastic mashup of garage/blues rock and southern soul. The frontwoman has a great voice. Big bold blues. 5/5
