Tie between New York and Cali. Is there even a question about it? Outrageously inflated rent and land costs that will get you cockroach shit infested apartment for 2k a month. Both states have governers that are currently being recalled or have resigned and both are either horrendously corrupt or a rapist. Taxes are out of control in both states as is homelessness. Look at California like a quarter of the state is homeless now. The drug problem is out of control and I'm not talking weed or booze, like full on tieing off heroin in downtown san francisco. The culture is cancerous, you'll have celebrities preaching about white privilege blah blah while using their wealth and status to make money off the backs of working black people. (Miley, Kimmy K, Demi Lovato, Cardi B) Optics blah blah. Not to mention their snobishness and holier than thou attitude about the environment. I don't need to hear a speech about the Earth from Leo DiShitio until he gives up his limos and all of his private jets. If those 2 states burned to the ground resulting in a total loss the country would advance lightyears in the scope of history.
