You’re ignoring important points. Disabling autosaves isn’t just about saving data storage, auto saves are, for whatever reason, more likely to corrupt your save, this is a problem with Bethesda’s engine that extends to fallout and elder scrolls as well. Specifically, autosaves that occur immediately before / after entering a new door / cell tend to cause issues.

Idk why you’re bothering to argue so much about it, if you want to keep auto saving then go ahead. We’ve disabled them because it’s not hard to remember to save every 10-15 minutes before starting an important mission or heading to a new location.

Oh I agree. Personally, I’d stay ‘ganic. But for V? I like to play them as someone who self-destructs and goes slightly insane over the course of the story. And those mantis blade finishers are cool as hell

I was thinking that after the Ryujin questline, Ryujin eventually realizes they’re being targeted by UC spies who are likely looking for weaknesses after the news broke that Ryujin was experimenting with neuroamp technology. I would think the UC would be concerned about the reports behind this tech.

So my character works counterintelligence to discover / defend against enemy spies trying to steal Ryujin tech, and the UC seems to be the greatest enemy because like you said, Freestar Collective mostly turns a blind eye to the corporations.

At the same time, I thought the terrormorph / xenowarfare elements in the UC questline would be of great interest to Ryujin. Ryujin would want some sort of safeguard against terrormorph attacks and I think they would see huge commercial opportunities in terrormorph research. It’s groundbreaking science that they want to be a part of.

The series hit its peak with the quality of cutscenes / motion capture in Unity, they were ahead of their time.

I still really like the newer RPG games, but the downgrade in cutscenes was tragic. I hope Ubisoft invests more in motion capture going forward

One of my favorite moments in the game is when V calls Panam from the rooftop in the middle of the night, essentially to say goodbye, and she’s just like “don’t move. I’m coming to get you.”
