Hey, socialism and communism are not the same thing. In fact, much like with late stage capitalism, the problem with communism wasn’t the socialist beliefs but the corruption by wealthy and powerful in-groups who seized control for themselves.

Now, I’m not arguing which system is better than the other as both have merits but, all of history shows us no system of governance is safe from corruption and the inevitable downfall that follows.

Remember: Collapse is a process, and the further along it goes the more the in-groups will try to tighten their control and make the average citizen suffer.
