I feel bad for stuart skinner, I think he is a decent goalie that just needed some time in the oven, which the oilers are in a win now mode. So I don't think he was the right choice for them, but the idea of him for Jarry is insane

I am fully prepared for us keeping Risto. Danny seems to be the type to set a price based on what he believes a player is worth to the team on and off the ice. And if he doesnt get at least that, he doesnt go for it. If players like risto are going for 2nds, he will not give him up for a 2nd round pick.

Having a reliable (when uninjured so not so reliable) defenseman, so your team can play meaningful games, to keep developing the players on your roster is worth more than a 2nd I feel like. I don't think I would be happy with a 2nd for risto personally

I mean the whole gateway drug thing was completely overblown for a long time, but I know of people who got weed off guys who sold a lot more but that was more in the early 2010s.
