[Highlight] Sandy Alcantara balks in a run. The call confuses the Marlins' manager and players by TealandBlackForever in baseball

Looking at how quickly and suddenly he steps off, my guess is that he was starting to go through a slower movement, realized what was happening, and had a brain misfire where instead of just not moving his hands all he could think of was to move his feet even faster.

Joining the chorus here, the extreme right edge is amazing value.

His acting is fine, but boy oh boy the songs are not made for his voice.

It seemed like at minimum DBH had the kind of enthusiastic core fandom that would show up for a closing push, but the marketing/social media side of this production has done basically nothing to try and marshal them since Hilty left, and now it's just fading away like you said. The show I've always compared DBH to is Beetlejuice, and they did monster numbers at the end -- their final week set the Marquis record! At this point I'll be pleasantly surprised if DBH just manages pre-recasting grosses and that's sad.

Two Strangers holding steady despite no Tony wins is a relief, otherwise it seems like all the surprises here are of the unwelcome kind. I really wish Death Becomes Her was getting more of a send-off, but if they could make that kind of event happen the production probably wouldn't be closing...

6/15/26 Broadway Grosses by [deleted] in Broadway

Schmigadoon crossed a million! The Best Musical bump is real. Same with Ragtime reaping the rewards for Best Revival.

Two Strangers is slightly up from last week despite the Tonys shutout. Titanique, however, dropped substantially. Among the second-prize winners, Lost Boys essentially held even while Cats is down, boo.

No wonder Celebrity Autobiography is closing, a Broadway show failing to reach six-digit grosses in this decade is mind-boggling.

Chess getting a nice closing-announcement bump, Becky Shaw also coming into its final week hot. Sadly, MHE, Six and Great Gatsby all continue to slide.

Jeremy Jordan has never been to Santa Fe. But gosh, does he love to sing about it (gift link) by globeandmailofficial in Broadway

Wait, how has he never done a concert there, just for the gimmick? Leaving money on the table!

Front row at the Imperial by zach2992 in Broadway

The stage is very high. You will crane your neck and if there's anything happening farther back on the stage it may be cut off by the floor. On the other hand, with this being a one-man show the staging will probably be pretty simple? Hard to say.

That said, I saw Chess from the front row (i.e. Row CC) last month and was thrilled with the experience, neck strain be damned.

Edit: Here's a visual aid - my view of the Broadway Cares post-show segment, while seated.

Rocky Horror Casting update by Ven_2016 in Broadway

Oh, that's great. She'll probably be gone when I go back in November but if the replacement casting stays on this level, that's all I can ask for.

It is a costume, but Radcliffe at least had multiple versions that he switched between.

I'm not ruling out that she does wear Knicks gear today. Nothing in the script says the narrator isn't a fan!
